Our stay was during Mardi Gras. This staff is efficient and handle multitudes of people in a professional manner. The rooms are a little dated but the service is superior!

The hotel is very nice, but it is difficult to get to your room. You have to go all the way through the large lobby, go up 2 escalators and then to the elevators. There are 8 elevators, but they take a VERY long time coming down! Opt for the king room, not the queen. Huge difference in size and they cost the same amount.

I do NOT recommend this place

Booked this trip FOUR months in advance as a getaway for me and my wife. I paid for a King bed, but when we checked in, we were given a room with 2 double beds instead of the king bed that I paid for. Spoke to staff about the mix up and they said there was nothing they could do. Imagine booking a getaway with you wife and you can’t even sleep in the same bed. Staff was unapologetic and did not care whatsoever. Absolute joke.

They lied and said there was a plumbing issue come to find out it was because they overbooked. They transferred us to a different hotel. At the different hotel I had a bathroom issue. Then we were locked out of our room and could not get into it for over 30 minutes waiting on security!!!!!!!

I like that the property was clean safe walking distance to the smoothie king arena. I didn't like that they charged me a destination fee of 29.99 plus tax and i live in louisiana.The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I think that this property is very over priced. It was convenient for what i needed it for.
