Room was great and staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet was ok, they do charge a 20% gratuity no matter how many people, it was just my wife and I. Then there is a line right below the total to leave a gratuity. Very misleading!!!

I stay here often. The location is walkable to WWII museum, and the French Quarter. Trolley to uptown is right out front and other trolley to get to places such as City Park is just a short walk away. The hotel is nice and clean, but some rooms are starting to be a little worn.

Hotel lobby was beautiful, staff were nice. We had to change rooms twice, first time shower handle wouldn’t turn on, our view literally looked into someone’s porch. We asked to be moved, saw issue with shower handle, it even fell off. There was this awful fishy smell that’s they try to mask with carpet freshener.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Intercontinental. I arrived early in the morning before check in time and was able to pre check in and leave my luggage while I went to eat breakfast. My room was ready before I was done with my meal. I went after Christmas and the hotel was decorated beautifully with Christmas decorations and a gingerbread house village, which was really cute. The hotel was close to everything and I was able to walk wherever I wanted to go. The room was spacious and clean and the balcony was very large. The hotel was quiet, although it was around the holidays and the staff was very nice and helpful. Someone checked on me every day through text message to see if I was enjoying my stay. I would definitely stay here again.
