Mardi Gras Mumbo

It was a great experience during Mardi Gras. Staff was helpful, perfect location, great experience. I only thing I'd say needs improvement is the comfort of the mattress.

Nice Apartment Suite Style Room

Great area surrounded by top tier restaurants and a short walk to lots of destinations, convention center, French Quarter, etc. Being able to access Common House area was definitely a plus, good drinks and food options. Bed was comfortable. The only things that wasn’t my favorite was the couch, very stylish however uncomfortable even for one person. The TV only connects to stream from personal devices, has no over the air local channels or cable/network, but this was not an issue for me.

Great New Orleans visit

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Memoir. Liked that we were away from the busier French Quarter, in the relatively quieter Warehouse District, but close enough to walk to plenty of sites and restaurants. We used Lyft for further excursions. The building is nice, our 1-bedroom suite was well appointed and had a very private feel, the staff was helpful, and we enjoyed visiting the Common House for a drink one evening. Nice too that we got to experience a Mardi Gras parade that ran just a block away (we knew nothing about Mardi Gras - we were glad to have visited in the early part of the parade season!)

Staff were wonderful, location was a bit remote

The staff were very accommodating and the place was exceptionally clean. I liked the decor and the amenities, but my particular room was oddly shaped and felt prison-like in that it was a railroad flat arrangement. Also my mattress was uncomfortable and the bed was very small. I'm 5 ft 1, petite, so an average sized person or a tall man would be uncomfortable.

Great new property in a convenient location

Service was top notch. Property impeccably clean and well appointed. The use of "The Common" was a wonderful treat. Too cold to use the rooftop pool, but looking forward to it next time. The room was not serviced during our visit, so we had to request additional toiletries, and we struggled to get a second key, but otherwise a perfect visit.

Outstanding location - quiet and peaceful, but with excellent restaurants within a block or two. Beautiful room with all needed amenities. The only things that were lacking were logistical. I received at least 3 notices prior to our arrival, each with different check-in instructions. I even left a message via Expedia's chat feature, and no one ever got back to me. When we arrived at 10:30pm from the airport, no one was at the front desk and no one answered the phone. We were stuck outside in the dark. The front desk person arrived 15 minutes later. A note on the desk said "We've stepped away for a moment" or something to that effect, but we could not read that note from the sidewalk, so we had no idea if anyone would ever arrive to let us into the building. Then we couldn't get the television wifi connection to work (and my partner is a tech professional), and the wifi we were able to access on our phones kept conking out. These logistical/technical issues should be easy to remedy, and it will make a huge difference to guests' overall experience. Everything else about the room itself, and the building and its amenities, was top-rate. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice, quiet stay and great location

The room was nice and clean and it was great to have a kitchen. The location is the best part and close to a lot of good restaurants and galleries. Also close to the excellent WWII museum. Our main issue was with the tv. You’ll need to ask front desk for login info for the streaming apps or use your personal logins and then remember to log out before leaving. Either way, the smart tv was pretty clunky with a poor interface. I prefer just having cable or on demand available for late night or morning entertainment. The rooftop bar was nice and the view was excellent. Overall a nice stay.
