Great location, secure building, great staff. Room was clean, but lacked some basic amenities such as hand towels and coffee. Coffee was available in lobby one morning of our stay. Thermostat had no heat setting so room was very chilly.

Stayed for our honeymoon & got to experience a portion of Mardi Gras. Firstly, the staff was awesome. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. Being able to watch the parades from the balcony and having complementary jambalaya for the guests that night was a great touch that my husband & I were not expecting! The room was nice & clean. The bed was comfortable, fairly quiet in there if you get an interior room. The only cons we had was the ventilation in the room could have been a little better, our room often felt moist & stuffy after we had been gone for the day but it was not too big of a deal. (We’re also from a dry climate so it could’ve just been an adjustment to the humidity!) We loved our stay! The overall experience was a great one, this boutique hotel has history, while also being newly renovated, and a friendly vibe in a big city. Not to mention the location was also in the best spot!

Staff was welcoming and helpful when tv did not work, WiFi did not work and the heat was not available to warm the room. They stored our bag do we could sightsee awhile after checkout and quickly corrected our bill. But Towels were worn, had holes. Room had no windows. Good for sleeping but a little strange
