This property had roaches was under construction the people cleaning rooms couldn't speak English you couldn't ask them for anything call to the front tell them you had roaches they said okay and did nothing I think I should require at least half of my money back
Eh it's about what you would expect for a budget place in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. The room was clean but it was certainly no frills. The shower has issues, the toilet wasn't sealed to the ground. The pillows sucked and the bed was hard.
But it was cheap.
So 3 stars for offering what I expected.

Disliked: Amenities
Not a great place. I understand that they are remodeling but that should have been included in the property description.

Liked: Cleanliness
This was the only place we could find the night before the Superbowl in New Orleans.
We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room.
This place has a lot of potential to become more than a 2 star hotel.
The location was perfect! Everything else was HORRIBLE. Understand that the only reason we stayed is because we were there for the Super Bowl so options were limited and over priced and we weren't in the room that long. The A/C ran like it was cooling a whole house but it barely knocked off the heat. There were roaches, we saw and killed about 4. You know it's bad when they're in the fridge. We didn't use the fridge or microwave because of the "visitors". The fridge had a block of ice across the back wall. The mattresses were bare, we purchased our own towels and wash cloths from the nearby walmart because they were so cheap and flimsy. I tried calling when we checked in about the roaches but no one answered our call. Also, the tv didn't always have a picture. You would hear the sound but not see a picture. You had to turn it on and off a few times before it would work. I explained at check out about the roaches and the guy at the front desk was on speaker phone when I walked up and the person on the phone was speaking in a language that I don't understand so I waited unti he finished speaking and the guy at the desk just stared at me. So, I say, can I speak? He shakes his head. So, I said "there are roaches here" and he just blinks. So, I don't know what good that did. It was wild. I was not happy with the stay. There is obvious renovation but they should probably shut down until its finished.
