Great location, clean, affordable. I love this place! I got a room with a private bathroom. Slept very well. I felt safe walking alone in the neighborhood. This is my go-to affordable NYC hotel.

Asked for accommodations because my mother recently had a back injury. They did their best to accommodate, but had an empty room on the first floor they could have easily put us in. However, the lady at the front desk was incredibly nice! I would 100% stay here again if my mom wasn’t traveling with me.

Great place to stay if you’re looking for an inexpensive option right near Union Square. Building is old but recently renovated and everything is up to date. Rooms are very clean, bathrooms very clean. Be warned that there is no elevator: if your room is on 2 or above, you’re walking up with your suitcase. It was a great stay and the contactless check-in was very smooth. I had a bit of an issue and needed to call the front desk—and despite there being no front desk personnel on site, the person on the other end of the “front desk” number I called was very helpful and sorted out my issue right away. And this was late, like 10:00 PM. It was a care-free stay in a great neighborhood and I would definitely stay here again.

Why I should be given a refund!

1. The room was laughable small for 2 but claimed it could accommodate 3. 2. The TV was unusable. It was mounted in a way that could neither be viewed from bed nor by 2 people on coach without broken neck. (Picture available) 3. No toilet paper! No one on duty either last night nor this morning. 4. Had to put coffee pot on floor to plug in.
