This Four Seasons has lovely staff and service and is in a fantastic location. We came to go to Liberty Island, and it was so convenient! The room was lovely, spacious, and thoughtfully prepared for 2 kids, including cupcakes, bubble bath, robes, and Four Seasons style local stuffies. The only complaint is the pool. It was cold cold cold, and a hot tub is conspicuously missing. That’s quite a drawback IMO, as our MO when we travel is to spend a lot of time in the hotel and especially in the pool! Didn’t have breakfast there - there’s an Olle and Stein across the street, and they have the best hot chocolate on the planet, so we went there each morning.

Still the best service in the business, on par with the Carlyle and Savoy. In room dining was delicious and the Wagyu at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT is not to be missed. Take it from a lifelong NY’er on a business staycation, this is an incredibly stylish stay in the beating heart of NYC!
