We stayed at this hotel for five nights. While the check-in staff was pleasant, our overall experience was disappointing. Our room was not ready until 6:00 p.m., and we were given no prior notice or accommodations for the delay. When we finally accessed the room, it had not been properly cleaned and was missing furniture.
We contacted the front desk to request a different room, but were told the hotel was sold out. Additionally, we were charged extra fees despite not using any additional services, which was frustrating and unclear.
The hotel’s location is ideal, especially for first-time visitors to New York City. However, Hyatt needs to significantly improve its hospitality, service, and professionalism. I paid a considerable amount of money to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and we did not receive the level of service or experience we paid for or expected.
