Our bedroom was quite ample and clean and stylish. Basic, but completely satisfied for a Midtown Manhattan stay.
the bathroom was less perfect—a lot of weathering, aged and cracked tub, odd and messy little sink—overall impression of old, funky, and having seen a lot of real hard use. Yet, still serviceable, and the deep tub did make a good spot for a soak.
Some rooms are directly adjacent to elevators, The shafts are loud, but thankfully they mostly sound in the day and evening, not at night. Ear plugs were highly useful, eye masks too;
Oh and the view… we were on the 31st floor (rooms start at the 22nd, there are none below): our empire state view was phenomenal, all of lower manhattan spread out for us to observe, We returned to gazing out it again and again.
