Had to shower in 3 inches of water and told them it was not draining. Breakfast is very much more of a miss than hit. No cinnamon rolls all 7 nights we stayed there and two mornings we arrived 30 min before breakfast was to end and it was bare-bones on what was left. Not the service I have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express and it why we stayed there. Clean over all in the room.

Breakfsst was impossibly crowded. Very long lines. No tables available. Had to go out for breakfast. Parking not available. Door did not work. Cards did not work. Response took over an hour. Reception not helpful Had to wait in hall twice while waiting for repairs to door.

We didn’t like.

My family and I always stay at Holliday Inn hotels. I agree that this was the worst of all the ones we stayed at. Small room, smaller beds, small elevators and hallways too. In short, we didn't like the hotel.

Staff was very nice, the room was good (but I am glad I had it to myself as it would have been on the smaller side). Location is good as it's only 10 minutes or so walk to 7th Avenue. It was a relatively cheap and available option, but I need to say that I found it hard to sleep as the A/C unit was in the room and went on and off the whole night, not to mention noises from the hall way going on until midnight. Breakfast area and reception extremely crowded, and a lot of school children lining up for breakfast. The gym has four aerobic machines and a little space for your own workout with a few weights so not a lot of space. It's ok for the price, and friendly and clean, but just be aware it feels a little more like a hostel in the common areas than a hotel, and remember your ear plugs.

We had a great 3 night stay. Walkable to lots of food options and things to do. Lots of breakfast options at the hotel. We could not get into our room until 3:15pm which was a bit odd. The water pressure in the shower was weak and the air unit was noisy overnight.
