This was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had at a Holiday Inn. The lobby was overheated and disorganized, and the front desk staff was rude and unprofessional during check-in. The property was falsely advertised—breakfast was listed as included, but we were told it would cost $29 per day. We chose this hotel specifically to save on food, so this was extremely disappointing. There are only two elevators for a 20+ floor building, causing long wait times. The room was nothing like advertised, with a window facing a brick wall and alley. The walls were paper-thin, the bathroom door wouldn’t close, and there was no ventilation, making the room uncomfortable and lacking privacy. The only positive was the location. We checked out early and moved to another hotel. I would not recommend this property.

For the expensive rate the room was with a king size bed, you could barely walk in between bed and desk. Only two Elevators available and they are very small elevator for 25 floors and you had to wait for long periods of time to get on the elevators. Rooms are so closes you could hear peoples conversations, do not have noise control or etiquette… do not have consideration and throw doors so hard that you cannot rest. Would not stay in this specific IHG ….

Gracious staff - The employee even remembered I called to confirm my reservation. Appreciated the gift bag upon arrival and the hot chocolate and candy canes. Also a good location for our concert at MSG. Would stay here again

I am deeply grateful for the exceptional staff at the Holiday Inn Manhattan 6th Ave. Having worked in hospitality myself, I appreciate what outstanding service looks like—and Rovena at the desk and Tony at the door exemplify it in every way. Each time I entered the lobby, I was welcomed with a heartfelt “Hello” and a genuine smile, making me feel right at home. Their kindness went far beyond the expected: they made my son feel comfortable and cared for, and Rovena’s thoughtful gesture made my daughter’s birthday extra special. I can’t thank them enough for turning our stay into such a memorable and joyful experience.
