Even though I paid for a city view room I was put into a back room on a mid floor. There was an issue with the wall in the hallway outside my room where they were likely fixing a leak. The hallway smelled moldy and like fish. Other areas of the hotel seemed ok. Overall not a great experience. With so many other hotel options in the area I will likely never stay at an Edison again.

The room was very clean the staff were very pleasant and extremely friendly. Valet parking was very easy to deal with and the wait for the car was around 30 minutes which I think was pretty good. The door staff were really helpful to us as well informed of where to eat close to the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was very big for a NYC hotel. The only things I could complain about…the doorjam to the bathroom sticks up too far and we tripped on it multiple times. The other issue was the floor in the bathroom would be soaked after showers because it was only a half wall of glass. Otherwise, we would definitely stay again. Dining options were great. staff was so kind. Loved the care basket when we checked in. Clean and quiet.

Very dated, everything is old and dated, there’s no plug by the bed and the USB ports don’t work. They even charge guests for storing their luggage. Poor insulation as well, go somewhere else if you can.

Surprisingly clean and spacious! Comfortable beds and staffs around the hotel are friendly. I was skeptical about the bathroom from the pictures on their site, but it's really clean and well kept. Doors look old but everything else seems clean and good! 10/10 Location is really convenient.

Very clean. The maid service was 10/10. Comfy beds, great location. The drawback… the windows are very not soundproof and it was very loud. We didn’t sleep great. There was also some weird middle of the night construction happening across the street (no fault of the hotel) that didn’t help. Ending on a positive, the breakfast vouchers and options are awesome!

I called the hotel a few weeks before my stay. I asked about early check in. I was told to call the day of after 9 am to see if there were rooms available for an early check in. I also called the day of checking in several times to ask. I was not informed at any point in calling that there would be an early check in fee. When I got to the hotel for an early check in at 11:30. Check in was for 3pm. When I checked in , I was told there was an early check in fee for $90. I was surprised as well as very irritated. None of the times I called prior to arriving to the hotel was I informed that there was an early check in fee. Our hotel room was ok. The air conditioner as not working and it was pouring out a lot of heat. We did not sleep that first night. The next morning, we let the front desk know and they said maintenance would be up to fix it. When we returned that evening, the vent was still blowing hot air and making lots of noise. The shower did not work properly. The water barely came out of it and I was unable to take a shower. Also when I called a few weeks prior to my stay, I asked about parking. I was told parking was across the street, which it was. I was told it was $65 dollars a day. That was all I was informed of. When I pulled my car into the garage to park, the man that worked there asked if we had a reservation. I was not informed that I needed a reservation. I was also not informed that I would not have access to my car until I picked it up when we left at the end
