When we checked in, the male front desk staff wearing glasses was unwelcoming. He greeted us but no eye contact, not very hospitable too. The hotel has a good location, just a few minute walk to times square & other attractions. Although, the hotel’s outdated. No drinking water in the room, we were told to purchase from the store beside the hotel. On the bright side, you can leave your luggages in a designated room there prior to check-in time & after checking out so you can still roam around the city without having to worry about your bags!

Outdated, hard beds with little to no ventilation in the room. A/C system sucked. Just not up to par with even lower end hotels these days. Only thing good was the proximity to Times Square.

3rd stay and its predictable as always. Clean and confortable. If your loomlking for a hotel where you plan on staying in the room alot maybe look at somewhere else but if tou just want a clean place to stay highly recommend

Staff was amazing the hotel was a nice mix of old and new with modern rooms but old charm. My only complaint is that there were no charging ports in the room. This is very commonplace in this day and age so I thought that was odd but didn’t impact my stay. Great location. Will stay again

Overall, we had a good stay and found the hotel very convenient to everything we needed. The hotel was very clean, and we appreciated the daily room cleaning. The staff was also accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage for the day since we had a 9 p.m. flight and checkout was at 11 a.m., which was very helpful. Our only downside was that our room was located directly in front of the elevator, so we experienced constant noise throughout the day. While we enjoyed our stay overall, we would have definitely preferred a room in a quieter area of the hotel.

Location was convenient to Bryant Park, theater district, Rockefeller Center. The hotel itself is decades overdue for a renovation. Absolutely no correlation between the web photos of the rooms and the actual Accommodations.

The stay was perfect. The hotel was just what we needed. We could easily walk to everything! Times Square, Bryant Park, and Grand Central a station were so easy and convenient to walk to! The staff was friendly and inviting. I would definitely recommend!

Affordable and great location. Old hotel, the beds were very uncomfortable and felt like sleeping on a brick. TV didn’t work and hot water was hit or miss. But it was clean and serviceable. You get what you pay for.

Bang for your buck. The hotel is older, which was expected, but the location is unbeatable—right in the best spot for accessing local attractions. We only used the room to take a daytime nap, get ready for events, and sleep about 4–5 hours, which was just enough to recharge for another long day. We stayed Friday through Monday in December 2025. Check-in and check-out were easy and hassle-free. The Uber shuttle drops you off just a couple of short blocks away for a quick walk, or you can Uber directly to the front doors.

Irish pub next door, not bad for a quick drink. Also T45 rooftop bar Nextdoor as well.
Balcony 54th floor bar & you’ll get these amazing views. Enter hotel lobby, go right to the elevator and straight to the 54th bar floor.
