The staff are super rude, arrogant condescending. Snooty and I live in snooty places! Not Helpful. Like a robot checked me in. . Short curt rude. Don’t care. ROOMS OLD. Looks like last renovation was late 90s early 2000s. Dated granite lamps fixtures. Bed too hard did not rest well. This on the heels of the four seasons last weekend. BIF CONTRAST. TIRED. DATED ALMOST TO THE POINT OF DIRTY. OLD bathtub. Old hardware and furnishings carpet soiled. A to go bag from a restaurant sat at the elevator table all afternoon ooo to my departure the next day. Bar tiny with long wait. Elevators full and cannot get on one. There are so many other nice places in NYC. Stay elsewhere I asked for a 15 or 30 minute extra time check out as I had a salon appointment in the morning. They refuse saying my card would be charged automatically at 12 o’clock. An extra hundred dollars for one hour. I’m nearly asked for 15 minutes. The room was neat and tidy there was nothing to do but remove my towels. Three people declined me and were not gracious, but condescending an argumentative about my request for 15 minutes and I’m paying almost $1000 for one night. This is no palace, it is a dump. Trust me, spend your money elsewhere. Left frustrated and resolved to not pay 1000 to be denigrated. Lots of hidden charges at check out. BEWARE.

As the old saying goes “Location,location,location “ add on the top amenities and you have a great place to stay. I strongly recommend a room with a view. It takes it from great to incredible.

The size of the room was nice, but it’s really starting to show its age. some paint was peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom and Some of the lights didn’t work properly in the room. They had a fully stocked mini bar and snack drawer, but no coffee maker in the room. The staff could’ve been friendlier.

This hotel is very well located. You can walk from Central Park to Times Square. It is close to subway stops. While very elegant, it could use some updating in the common areas and rooms. The rooms are quite spacious but could use some redecorating. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall we had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful and location is perfect. My biggest complaint is the hospitality- for the price we pay nightly, you would think they would at least offer guests bottled water in the lobby. I was told to go back to my room for the free mini bottled waters. It doesn’t seem that they are willing to go the extra mile for their guests.
