The property is under construction and it was not announced. They did not respect the starting hours that they told me. I walked in my floor over plastics in the hallways. There are no telephones in the rooms or are not working in some cases (I had 2 rooms, I went with my family). So whatever thing you need yo have to go to front desk and to ask for it, but my issues were not even resolved there. I asked for more hangers and promised to deliver them and never happened, my room was not made and there was nothing to do about it, wanted fresh towels and they did not have, the next day my room was cleaned but only put 1 bath towel, we were 2 in my room and after I went again downstairs to ask for more towels the only kind person there (Morgan) promised to deliver them after 11 pm but again failed to deliver...it was the worst hotel experience ever in a family trip. The rooms are still pretty, it's the only thing positive I can say about my stay. When it was a MONDRIAN hotel it worked smoothly. I never had problems the. The new administration is terrible.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was quiet, extremely cozy, and so comfortable that I didn’t even want to leave. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful — it really made a difference. The location was perfect for me, close to everything yet peaceful. I felt completely safe during my stay. Also, the complimentary breakfast from Pret was such a lovely touch. I’ll definitely be staying here again and recommending it to everyone!

This hotel is still under renovation so there are zero facilities, hence the low score for that. Breakfast consisted of a bag from Pret A Manger but there was no coffee and no coffee making facilities in the hotel! Starbucks the block down got our jet lagged business for that. House keeping wasn’t quite up to standard with towels and face cloths not restocked after the room was cleaned.

The staff at the hotel were incredible. They really couldn’t have been nicer, friendlier or more helpful. We were on honeymoon and we got back to our room to find flowers and a card congratulating us: a very nice touch!! The hotel is in a great location and just a short walk to The Empire State Building and other must-see places but is also in a quiet (for New York) area. The only thing that let it down was the lack of tea : coffee in the room / hotel. I had to get dressed and go over the street to get our morning coffee in the morning. If not for that, it would a five star / 10 out of 10 review. I’d definitely stay here again.

Great stay and friendly staff. Anything we requested it was taken care of right away. Took one star off for cleanliness. Body towels were small. The ones I initially had seemed old or dirty. They were replaced right away, but still had the same issue, so assuming they are just old. Minor details with housekeeping…had the room cleaned twice but shower stayed the same and floor wasn’t vacuumed to spec. Breakfast delivery to rooms is a great touch! Just wish coffee was offered too. Would stay here again.

The Hotel is very nice, we had a suite with the balcony and it makes all the difference to take in the NYC ! Thank you for having us! The only thing that was missing was a coffee maker in the room. The room was clean and very cool looking !

You know I really do love this area and I’m sure this hotel is great most other times, however they had construction going on the entire time , which was the same floor and above us where our room was. It felt like we couldn’t relax in our room at any point because the construction was so loud and obnoxious. They also didn’t clean our room half the time. Maybe next time make customers aware that there will be construction the entire time or offer extensive discounts.

I gave the staff a 4 rating because of Morgan at check in. No other reason. Our AC wasn’t working when we got there. We were without TV access because of a “server” issue for a day and a half. We requested housekeeping once during our 6 night stay and they didn’t empty the trash, left a cleaning rag on the sink on top of my hair accessories. It should be stated clearly to anyone booking that this hotel is under renovation and doesn’t have amenities but that didn’t stop them from charging hotel fee of $40/night.
