I went to the city for my daughter’s graduation. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever had. Parking was easy, subway or bus was close. Room was quiet!

Fabulous Radio Hotel!

My stay at the Radio Hotel was amazing! The front desk staff are the friendliest and nicest I have ever experienced! Made me feel so welcome!! Their customer service is impeccable!! An awesome feature is the 24/7 cafe- very nice snacks, coffee and tea! The room is nice and clean and energy efficient. The only advice is to maybe keep a small box of Kleenex instead of a travel pack! Love the carpet free floors and the beds free of those decorative cushions and throws that I get rid of as soon as I enter any other hotel!! All in all I give 5 stars to this hotel- so convenient a location for any Washington Heights event/venue!!

This hotel is a good place to stay, specially in my case that my relative live close by and I can walk to their house. Is clean and not too noisy. The door man specifically is friendly and attentive. I had only 1 inconvenience and 1 concern. This is my second time here and this time we choose a room with 1 king bed and the problem was that the bed is against the wall, so for the person that sleep in the inside is very uncomfortable to go to the bathroom at the middle of the night because has to jump the person on the outside. Also I think they don’t have too many iron and iron boards because I ask for one as soon as I got to my room and the person in reception told me that they only had one left, which it was strange because it was a big line to check in so imagine there wasn’t enough for those guesses, thank God no one ask before me because I would’ve not like to wear my clothes all wrinkled. Hopefully they correct this two things in the future because is a good place to stay.

This is my third stay at this hotel. I like the location in relationship to public transportation. Great dining options and less expensive than lower Manhattan.

No running water!

The hotel was okay the first night. Was disappointed that the restaurant was closed for several nights. The morning of our check out we had no running water. We couldn’t shower or flush the toilet. The manager stated a pipe had busted. She said it wasn’t their fault. I understood that perfectly but we had a plane to catch and was completely inconvenienced. We asked for compensation and they offered 15% off our bill. That was unacceptable to me. Won’t return

Our room was not finished by any means, the ceilings was still in the concrete color cement. The AC did not function the whole entire night we ended up sweating all night as we couldn't sleep. We ended up right on the corner room with all the noise of rhe people yelling all night and busses and sirens and horns honking. All i wanted was a one night sleep and was not able to get that to continue with our trip well rested. Cleanliness also leaves much to say

Clean rooms and there was parking in the building (for a cost). Rooms were small, though, and the way the bed was set up, it was hard for me to get out of bed without waking my wife.

Gotham has never looked better!

What a wonderful surprise... Although, this is a low frills Hotel, it is clean and the staff is really nice. There are some things you'll have to get used to: - The bathroom sink is child size at best - There are very few racks or shelves for storing your items or even to hang towels & washclothes - The fridge is tiny and only meant for beverages (there's no freezer) and no microwave - No in room coffee service or irons - There is no table, no suitcase rack, drawers or closet Benefits: - The restaurant is open most days of the week. The food at Jalao is comforting yummy Dominican cuisine with amazing drinks - The rooms are large - Cement ceilings & floors mean less dust cleaner room - There's a grocery store around the block within 5 minutes walking distance or less - The hotel is located on a busy thoroughfare which means it is easy to wave down a taxi vs. using Uber or Lyft - The doorman a middle-aged guy AMAZING outstanding customer service - There's a nice courtyard which is very large modern extremely clean wonderful for relaxing, music, chatting or having a meal - The decor/design of the property reminds you of a cool edgy Gotham vibe without the monsters and villains as a matter of fact the elevators greet you with Superman and Spider-Man. I mean who could go wrong with that! As with any city be aware of surroundings & those in it. It's a very busy area with foot traffic & for the love of God the freaking vehicles until 2:00 a.m. We got used to it. 😊

I loved this place. It was clean, great design aesthetic , fun vibe, good food, friendly people. My only complaint was the room I was in had 2 outside walls with great views but the street noise was loud. I wish I had ear plugs.
