The reception staff, bell staff, and door men were so nice, friendly, and helpful. The room we had was very large for NYC. The room could use a little updating but it was overall perfect for our stay. Location is a few block from Times Square but perfect if you don’t to be right in the chaos of NYC but close enough to enjoy it still.

Good location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle Times Square area. Yet close enough to get there by walking or taking the subway. The hotel offers large living areas and mini kitchen station. However, the bathroom is tiny. Sink and shower stall are small. Can’t really put anything on the sink area. The room itself is dated. I hear the Sonesta will be getting an update next year in 2036. It is definitely needed. But, if you don’t mind less modern type of hotel, the rooms are clean and the large living area with sofa bed is a plus. Nice area in lobby to enjoy lunch or to hang out before you need to be on your way somewhere. The entire staff is great. Very helpful and kind.

Location is great. A bit of a walk to the center of midtown, but we enjoyed that peace!! Rooms are LARGE for NYC. Rooftop is gorgeous and staff was lovely and kind. Clean and meets every need. I hope to be back!

Hotel is great and the staff is so accomodating and welcoming...especially the sweet hotel doodle who welcomes you with dog hugs! My only complaint was the room was kind of stuffy when we checked in...we asked about turning down the air but the heat was on and we couldnt turn it off. THey recommended opening a window...which was kind of loud through the night. Restaurants were good and location is great and easy!

The hotel needs to be updated. The mattress and pillows were old as well. The hotel feels old. There was music playing all night during the first night of our stay coming from the speakers of the lobby. I am sure I was not the first to complain about it. I extended my stay for 3 for nights but I checked out and moved to another hotel.
