worst hotel

terrible noise 24/7 due to reconstructions all over the streets, even at night impossible to sleep! worst experience ever in my life! never again will come! 3 elevators but still every time waiting for it for a long time! breakfast is terrible, lines to get food you will wait for 15 min to take a food and no place to sit, take your food and eat it in room , craaaazy! black out from the window felt down right in my head, asked cleaning lady to fix it but she just walk away cause she don’t speak english CRAZY! HOOD IS TERRIBLE NOT SAFE AREA WORST LOCATION TO STAY

House keeping was probably the best part of the stay. The room was regularly cleaned and enough towels were provided throughout the stay. The area surrounding the hotel is rough, so if you’re just coming in and out of the hotel that could be ok. There are no restaurants or any cafes around, and it’s not advisable to walk around looking for some, especially if you’re traveling with kids. The elevator was super slow, and because there was free breakfast for all, the lobby was PACKED in the morning. I think there should be some kind of a system implemented to deal with this volume. We ended up having to pay for Valet Parking despite the fact that on the hotel site it said that ‘parking’ is available. That was additional $55 USD per night which added up for the four nights. Front dest staff was generally friendly, especially the supervisor.

Room clenliness was immaculate. Bed was very comfortable. View of downtown NYC obstructed by large industrial building with several tall smokestacks. Front desk ran out of room keys, so security guard had to open my room. How could they possibly not have enough room keys?

Sketchy area to walk, clean room but small. 4 night stay and only came to clean/ restock room once. Very cramped check in area & slow with minimal workers. Was able to leave bags to tour NYC bc they were unable to get us in earlier than 3PM. Lots of contraction around. Nice view of the city. 10 min walk to subway.
