This property is in horrible shape. I don't know where to start. I guess the first thing that was ridiculed was the elevators. One was out of service, and the ones that worked never came to the lobby. We waited 10 minutes for the elevator. And the other times, we just walked up and down four stairs. The hallways were always full of cleaning staff carts. Like there was nowhere to store them. The water fountain in the ice machine didn't work, so we had to buy water. Even the paint in the hotel was chipped everywhere. The room was very uncomfortable. The A/C didn’t work in one room, and there was no place to sit. We could only sit on our beds. The shower had no door, so the bathroom would get soaking wet. The bathroom door was falling apart due to the room's moisture. The TV had a YouTube app that didn’t work. We had the room with the bunk bed; the latter was hazardous. The WIFI kept going out. It was just not a fun place to be. And our room keys just randomly stopped working twice in the 3 days we stayed. It felt like a flop house. The only cool thing was the location. We will never be going back.

Great staff but poor building conditions

The staff is amazing and super attentive. The staff deserves a 5 star rating. The property however need attention. Outta the 3 days we only had hot water 1 day. The lamps were broken, the outlet was broken also the shower head was not screwed in properly. Finally the light fixture could use a good wipe down.

This place was perfect location for the shows we were attending, but we were not happy that they charged us an extra $50 for a resort fee that they said was mandatory yet useless to us! When I asked what amenities we were paying extra for, he explained discounts on restaurants (which most hotels include free) and possible use of a gym (Why not just charge the guests a fee if they want access to a nearby gym?) Some staff were friendlier than others. The elevators were very slow.

Our room had no working air conditioning and the knob for the shower fell off and we had no hot water. There was pretty much a pot hole in the floor of the room. It’s in good location but it was rundown, it didn’t look like anything on there website.

Comfy bed, crappy hotel

Location is great to Times Square, bed was comfortable, BUT hotel needs work. -Chipped paint, scuffed walls, tear in the headboard, flickering light above shower, water took forever to heat up in shower, so much so, i thought maybe there was no hot water. -The shower filled up with 3 inches of standing water before i got in and doesnt drain until well after the shower is over, so you're standing in your soap and lord only knows what else that might float up from the drain. Sink also extremely slow to drain so had to use water sparingly while you brush your teeth, you have to spit and rinse quickly and repeatedly. -Window was really dirty when trying to look out it felt like a haze film had been put over window. -Maid service came because we didn't have a do not disturb sign, but apparantly were supposed to....took our wash cloths and hand towels and didn't replace them. The shampoo, conditioner and body soap were in large bottles attached to the wall of shower and we were out of body wash, but that was not replaced. -There was a bunk bed in our room but put top mattress on the floor for safety, very rickety. -The elevators are a joke. There are 3 of them but pretty sure only 2 work. I would suggest if you have to stay here ask for a low floor so you can take the stairs, guaranteed stairs are faster than waiting for the elevators. You push the button to have elevator come to your floor and you could binge a Netfix show while waiting....

I called the day of our first night reservation and I was unable to get through after multiple calls. I was unable to even leave a message. We were in two different rooms because the first room was unacceptable only to be put in the second room that was also unacceptable. Both did not have climate control. We rarely got hot water. The TV remote didn’t work. Wi-Fi didn’t work in the room. Housekeeping was loud in the morning. They were completely insensitive to hotel guests who might be sleeping. The elevators were slow and infrequent. We often took the stairs because of the unpredictable timing. Our first room had a very small closet behind one of the night tables making it impossible to use unless we moved the night table. The staff were cordial. They were happy to attempt to address the issues, but in the end they were unable to. It’s just the way it was, and they seemed content with the outcome of unhappy guests. Not worth it at any price they should give us a credit.

Very small rooms. No air control in rooms. No wifi working in room. No drawers at all to place your clothes. Closet so narrow, the only 3 hangers would not fit in closet. Had to keep closet door open. No hot water any morning and we stayed 3 nights. No ice bucket for ice and no small fridge. Would never stay there again and would not recommend for anyone. The only redeeming quality was the location.

We came for a 2 night stay. I picked this hotel because of ratings. When we arrived the hotel did not smell clean. The lobby was pretty rundown. Some of the issues were that our room was very run down. There was. a broken lamp hanging on the wall. There was only 1 light. There was no hot water during our stay. Our TV never worked. The carpet in the hallway was filthy and ripped. There was a broken elevator and it took a long time to go up or down. There were no wash cloths, I asked for some but never got them. I will say the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Except for the location this place is terrible, the elevators not working and ALWAYS long wait, service is horrible everytime I had asked for help and nobody came I had to go down the elevator couple times (with the long wait) to speak to someone since the phone was unplugged in the room, after I got a different room when trying to use the phone to call reception no one ever answered they transferred you to a line you wait and get to voicemail. Bottom line, worst service EVER. Very disappointed of the maintenance and the place really bad experience.

Avoid this hotel at all cost. I prepaid for a king size bed room and they gave my room away and stuck me into a what probably was at one time a closet with a twin bed. Luckily i was by myself but they don’t honor prepaid reservations. They never offered a refund for the difference in room prices. Now I can understand if I booked the room and still had to pay for it when I arrived but I prepaid in advance for a king deluxe room and they gave it away and stuck me in the closet. I just go down now and ask for a late check out and they deny me even that. Horrible staff, horrible hotel and only one elevator is working. Avoid at all costs!!!!

horrible for the money

Horrible hotel, Elevators didnt work and frankyl scary. Had to wait 20 mins one time to get to room. Room very small, wall paper peeling off the wall from moisure damage from leaks, outside hallway wood around door rotted from water damage . inside room window ac with side shade not properly done, heard all nigth the outside street noise AC about 10 years old, doorman sat in chair in front and offer little help, would never stay again

There’s a reason this one is cheaper

Each time we returned to our room, our keys didn’t work. This was particularly inconvenient because we had just climbed the stairs 5 flights because there was only one small elevator working for the whole hotel. The desk clerk told us that our lock had been reprogrammed. Another time, a desk clerk told us not to take the stairs because it was too dangerous. There was a fire station around the corner so there were a lot of sirens.
