Hotel was old and dirty. Pictures on website was not what you get. We had to change rooms because of the sink not draining. Sheets and wash cloths were dirty. TV did not work. Carpets looked dirty and had holes in them. The breakfast was continental and all they had was two different styles of muffins and apple and oranges. Other guest were at the counter requesting different rooms when I was there. I will say staff was very helpful and nice during initial checkin with everything and did the best under these circumstances. However with that being said I would not stay here again until they remodel or upgrade this place.

Be advised that the room you book may not reflect the images on the site! (Had we know this we would’ve gone with a different hotel to have the quality we expected) Upon arrival the receptionist stated they didn’t see my reservation going into a back room for an extended period of time. The lobby is not accurately depicted on the site either. We were placed on the 8th floor. Room photos attached. Unfortunately due to time constraints we had to quickly exit after check in to see a show. Upon our return we were told the “premium” rooms we all filled so we could not change to the rooms we thought we booked based on Expedia and their website. We definitely felt bamboozled. Especially because the “premium” rooms were only about $15 dollars more and 10 floors up.

Overall worth the money

Overall, we found the hotel room to be spacious compared to others in New York with comfortable bedding and updated decor. The sliding door to the bathroom was a bit noisy and did not offer much privacy for bathroom activities. The walls and exterior door seemed a bit thin so we could hear hallway and elevator noises clearly. The staff were very friendly although a bit slow both at front desk and bell person, they just didn’t seem to be fully staffed. I had to call the hotel a few times and several times the phone rang unanswered because they were too busy. The “breakfast” offered is not worth the added cost to the room. It’s a drink, one piece of fruit and pastry per guest. The hotel is very convenient to Broadway shows and Times Square. Despite q few drawbacks, we thought the hotel was worth the money spent. The friendly staff, comfortable room and location are the best parts.

Pros: Location, apparently the renovated rooms are good. Cons: front desk staff was rude, the rooms that aren’t renovated are awful. Mattress is nothing but springs, frame is basically on the floor, 1970’s scratches up headboard, no nightstands, curtains were old and crusty. My husband broke is toe on the step up into the bathroom. Bathroom is tiny, it was covered in hair, no drain

i was scammed because i was not accommodated in the room that i reserved, i was put in a room standardisai very room, even to give us a simple water one asks us to pass to the machine, frankly i was never disappointed like that. i even ask to be refunded moreover the hotel invoice me more than 400 dollars. if you want i would send you the invoice.
