The first room we checked into was filthy, so we asked the front desk person if we could switch rooms, and he was very helpful. We moved to a less dirty room, which was far from perfect, but I guess they’re short-staffed or that’s just the standard. The whole place is kind of rundown, but it has potential. The restaurant on-site was great.

Checking went smoothly. When I got up to the room, it had a funny smell to it. The view was really nice. I turned the shower on and it flooded the bathroom. Maintenance had to come up. It took them about 45 minutes. Both guys were really nice. They had good food spots recommendations and good conversation. Shortly after housekeeping, came up to clean the excess water off the floor. A delayed me getting ready for our event at 9 o’clock. I was unable to do my make up. I didn’t let it ruin my trip although I feel like the hotel should have compensated me in some sort of way. Not sure if I will be returning in the future.
