I booked this hotel because it was close to the prudential center for an event I was attending. Location was close enough to the prudential center and Newark Penn station which was convenient. Overall, I didn’t like the hotel and I wouldn’t book again. My room was supposed to be a non-smoking room but as soon as I walked in I was hit with the smell of cigarette smoke. Overall the experience was unpleasant. I would not stay here if I had kids!!!

Cigarette smell in the area that is not smoking area, staffs are not too friendly, my husband forgot a medicine in the car and went back to get it and one of the parking valet guy was rude, cleaning lady entered to the room without knock the door.

Both times I've staying here the room doors slam very loudly, there were guests yelling in the hallways throughout the night, bathroom sinks were dirty.... and last time they hadn't finishing prepping the bed (left the pillows on bed without pillow cases).
