The room felt like a barely decorated concrete prison cell. And there was a green light that flashed all night long every 5 seconds in our hotel room. The restaurant wasn't even a restaurant. It was a bar and the one person working the bar only had an $18 hamburger to offer us and nothing else. There were 3 of us and after asking twice he walked over and gave us 2 waters then the burgers came out at different times in to go containers. I guess they wanted us to leave cause locals were watching the very violent content on the TV so loudly that we left because we didn't want my daughter to watch it. When we left the hotel, there was no one to check us out. Only a box with a bunch of other rooms keys in it, all with their room numbers listed on them that we also put our room key into. And when we checked in, the front desk clerk told us and the person who was checking in before us that we'd probably miss breakfast (like most of their guests) because we needed to get to the airport and catch a flight. Then maybe start your breakfast earlier? Overall, we were only there for about 8 hours and it was 8 hours too long.

The staff were excellent- from the shuttle driver, to the person at the front desk, to the waiter/bartender in the rooftop restaurant. There was a big snowstorm with lots of stranded folks, but the delivered with kindness, respect and even some humor. And, btw, the room was great also - spacious, clean, perfect!

We came to town early 2 days to get ahead of storm to make our cruise. I was extremely happy to finally see a hotel that looked like the photos! The entire hotel was clean, super helpful staff from the desk, room team, and restaurant team. We chose this hotel since it is close to cruise port and offered a restaurant since we were here through ice/snow storm. The breakfast is good, dinner was good, and cocktails good! Just know, no lunch as on website but must say the delays of breakfast time really helped us get through the day. Dinner/bar open 5-10 pm. Our room was a king bed room, spacious, very comfy bed. I take 4-5 trips a year, and happier at this hotel than most! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. We ended up having a day delay in cruise, the hotel quickly booked our same room for another night. I will absolutely share this hotel info with everyone coming to NJ!

Stayed night prior to our cruise out of Brooklyn. Everything was clean, comfortable and up to date. We had dinner at the bar, delicious and breakfast was more than we expected! The waffles were some of the best we’ve ever had! Great variety, very fresh, professional staff.

Staff looked like we were bothering them with questions, when asked for simple coffee or fruit. We stayed for two nights, both nights fire alarm wast triggerred at 2 am, both times. In the morning it was impossible to find regular coffee (rooms were stocked with decaf). The lady at the front desk looked annoyed and said they only do decaff... we had to make her get it sent to the room; she did not offer it, nor tried to get it without being prompted. By the way, the regular coffee never arrived. Water station at the gym remained empty for our entire stay.
