Room 18 requires some upgrading to be callled a two bedroom family suite. This is based on other family in room 14. There was no real kitchen area and amenities were limited compared to room 14 (this includes a lounge and four chairs to sit at table for breakfast). Second room had no aircon or fan to keep room cool so door had to remain open. Bathroom handrails failing off. Have stayed before and value for money for location and comfort but disappointed with this particular room. Will ensure future bookings exclude this room.

This was such a find. The room was very clean, and the suite had everything I needed. Staff were very friendly & helpful. The location suited me also with the lake right at my doorstep. Warner’s Bay shopping Centre was a short walk away with plenty of cafe’s & restaurants as well as a supermarket & pharmacy. I’ll definitely stay there again.

The motel is located in a scenic area near the water and provides nice options to walk and enjoy views over Warners Bay and the entire region. We found the property to be overall clean and well maintained. Our room had sufficient space. The room was reasonably priced. What we found unpleasant, however, was the level of service we received from the staff at reception. To begin with, the staff member was unable to answer a simple question about how to reach the motel (it was our first time visiting the Newcastle area). Secondly, the staff member has attempted to call my phone number several times when I was still in the middle of driving. He did so without any apparent or valid reason, as we were still within reception opening hours and arrived at the motel an hour and a half before reception's closing time. I find this behavior to be strange (to put it mildly). Thirdly, there were only one or two bottles of shampoo, which is insufficient for a large family. And lastly, the staff member has promised to send a copy of the payment receipt to my email address, which he did not sent.
