Great value for money

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff were really friendly, the breakfast was pretty good. The room was nice as well. The hotel is five minutes away from the beach. Overall, I had a lot of fun and I think the room was good value for money. If I do decide to come back I know where I'll be staying :)

Disappointing Stay in Nha Trang

The hotel looked much cleaner and new on their profile on hotels.com. It was much more run-down and smelled of 10 year old carpet that had smoke trapped in it. Definitely not worth the price we paid. If we could do it again, we would stay somewhere nicer for the money spent. We also had small ants in our room and the shower water was warm to hot at best. Overall, disappointing stay.

Convenient and clean Hotel

The Hotel was overall a good choice. Very convenient for dining options and its proximity (5' walk) to the Sinh Tourist Office from where the Sleeping Bus Departs.

OK hotel, but you could probably do better

A conveniently placed hotel, amongst the restaurants and bars of Nha Trang and only 7 minutes form the beach. However, the room didn't have a window (nor did my friend's room) and the pool didn't open till 10, so we felt stuck inside in the dark until then, which was a shame. The breakfast choice was wide. The hotel is mostly used by Russian guests and very little English in understood by staff or any other guests so be prepared to communicate by mime!

Noisy guests ruined this hotel for me!

Unfortunately the hotel is over run by Chinese people and they get up at 6o'clock in the morning and within 30minutes they are shouting to each other up & down the corridors with their room doors open. I stayed 2 nights and had to get up both mornings and ask them to "quieten down". The other bad thing is that the rooms by the lift have no views or outside windows. The small window in the bathroom and the room open into a enclosed area for I guess fresh air and the mounting of the air-con units, but the down fall is you can hear everything that is going on in the rooms below and above if they have their windows open and when I say everything (use your imagination, I mean everything). I shut my windows but a very active couple still made enough noise that I could hear them over the air con and the TV. Not nice!!

The hotel was in a great location for exploring Hanoi. The first room we stayed in smelt a little and had no window. They allowed us to move after 1 night. The staff ware very hard working and friendly. We booked the halong bay tour through their recommendation - called, fantasea (booking the 3 nights made it more worth while financially). Only thing when we arrived back from the tour, they wouldnt not book the nicer room out for us, unsure as to why as it wasn't booked out.

Everything is great!

Hotel staff are great.very helpful.we were taking overnight bus at the day we checked out. So we went to rooftop to have dinner and relax until we have to leave for the bus trip which is around 6:30pm. Food is tasty and good price for the daily special menu.the most important the room is clean. Breakfast buffet is good.overall the price may out of backpackers budget but it's really worthy.

Nice hotel, 2 blocks from the beach

The staff was fantastic, my girlfriend was sick and the bellboys were so helpful. They would ride out on their scooters and get her soup and all times of the day. The room was quite clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a nicely tiled shower. Only complaint is that the hot water was not always available and in the bathroom, there is a window that opens up to an empty space, and when it is open, you can hear everything that is happening in other rooms (Some guy was vomiting violently for 3 days)

Central Nha Trang city

A good place for those who want to party all night. Central to everything. All night thumping music venue nearby not good for those who want to sleep. Bed was excellent and room was clean. I was overcharged for room. Free cocktails each night are advertised but only if someone bothers to give you a ticket. Bteakfast was mediocre and the meal I ordered for dinner was nothing but chicken neck bones in sauce - no chicken meat attached. Cannot recommend given there are so many hotels in Nha Trang to choose from.

As per other reviews there are still building works next door but this is not noticeable from inside. On our first day the water from the shower smelt like sewerage water and then was shut off for part of the day. The remaining day and evening the water started to improve but was never fully resolved. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable. The local area is good for the beach, restaurants bars and markets.

Shame about the building work next door

Shame about the building work next door because the hotel was really nice, rooms clean and staff helpful. The work continued to late at night and started early morning. Also, due to this we could not access the pool or bar which was a shame.

Deluxe Double Room with Sea View is not 30 m2

I booked the Deluxe Double Room with City Views on Hotels.com and when I tried to check in, they didn't have the room ready so they upgraded me to the Deluxe Double Room with Sea View which was listed on hotels.com as 30 m2. It's actually on 22 m2. Even if you add in the shared balcony, which should technically be considered a public space because it's shared with another room, would add only another 4 m2. If you are in a room with a shared balcony, make sure you lock the balcony door because your balcony neighbor can open your door if it's not locked. As for the view, you get a small sliver of the ocean between two buildings. There are bathrobes in the closet, which were nice. Room Tip: Whatever room size you book, subtract about 25 percent, and that would be your actual room size

Executive Room with Sea View has Great Sea View

I booked the Executive Room with Sea View on Hotels.com listed as 25 m2. Including the bathroom, I measured only about 22 m2, but it's big enough for two people to live comfortably. The closet has two bathrobes for lounging around, but I think that's a standard in Nha Trang. Even 2 star hotels have bathrobes. The view is spectacular, no buildings obstructing your view of the ocean. You can go to the 18th floor rooftop pool for an even better view. The location is great. The beach and ocean is literally across the steet. For some reason, my laptop joined the wifi network, but I couldn't surf, but I hardwired to the router in the hallway and I was able to go online fine. The 3rd day, they caught on that I was hard wiring to the router outside and said it's not allowed so I unplugged it. The wifi was working at that point anyway. The cyclo drivers outside will tell you their fares are low, but they primarliy make money from kickback comissions from seafood restaurants and tour bookings. The breakfast is pretty good. with lots of bacon for you low carbers out there. Room 501's faucet was faulty. When I tried to fill the tub, the water would shoot sideways and waste water. Filling the tub would take a long time because not all the water was going into the tub!

Smelly room

When they gave me my room they just sprayed insecticide and the room smelled horrible. The front asked me to open the window for a while so I did and walked around. Came back and still smelled horrible and I asked for another room. They said no. Terrible experience so I wouldn't stay here again.

Noisy bed all night and dark lobby at 10 pm

Had it not been for the last minute discounted rate I would have been kicking myself for this choice. Other than the closer proximity to the beach most of the features were not impressive. The frame of the bed must have been made by ratten or bamboo as the rattling noise was sufficient to wake you or your partner up with the slightest movement. The hotel lobby lights will be switched off at 10pm which made it very difficult to see the steep entrance steps. The next door construction work continued with piles of bricks close by. In fairness the breakfast was OK with a good and friendly manager.

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Everything from hotel cleanliness, services and comfort was perfect except for some minor problems in the water drainage outlets of the bath tub and basin which were quickly fixed by the staff. I will definitely stay here again in my next trip
