Good time

We had a great time while visiting the Falls. The staff at the hotel were very friendly, allowed us to park early and use the bathroom facilities before we were able to check in. Would stay again.

The price was very reasonable, and the service matched exactly what I paid for—no hidden fees or surprises. The hotel delivered a solid experience with everything as expected. I highly recommend this place for families with kids.

The hotel is advertised as 3 star but it’s actually 1 star. From the room to the breakfast to the lobby to the elevators everything was horrible. The hotel is EXTREMELY old, it is not maintained at all. The furniture in the rooms is so old that the threads from the sofa were coming off. The ceiling has chemical stains, and it was extremely hot in the halls, rooms and lobby. The breakfast options were really bad. Some eggs and sausage, bagel and bread. No waffles, pancakes, fruits etc. the sausage was touching the eggs so if you don’t eat meat there’s a lot of cross contamination. We could not sleep at night because of how hot our room was, we asked someone to come check it out and they said it’s ok, so we asked for a fan and they brought us a mini fan with so much dust on it. The hotel has so much potential but needs someone to actually take care of it. The room was big but extremely old. The shower curtain smelt so bad. Our experience was 0/10, would not recommend at all. We were so disappointed.

The property was nice for a lower end priced tourist trap! My only complaint was the beds...very poor condition. It sagged no matter where you lay. Had to lay on the edges or it was like sleeping on a hammock.

I first visited this hotel about 25 years ago. The hotel has a lot of cute charm, and it is within 3 minutes walking of the hill, and less than 10 minutes from the falls. Location is great, staff are very professional and quick, and parking / breakfast included really cuts down on the expenses. However, we paid $1100 for 4 days for a family room. I know it's summer - peak season. The hotel was fully booked each of our days. This cannot account for the COMPLETE FILTH of the hotel. We are simple people, very happy with budget, no frills, 2 star accommodations. We I cannot tolerate is a level of filth that can only happen with years of neglect. Our room was covered in dirt - carpets full of stains and smelled awful, socks / underwear / and 10 - 15 pieces of garbage behind our dresser, 1inch of dust and hair behind the fridge, burned out lightbulbs, bedsheets put on backwards that didn't fit and kept coming off (did they change the sheets or simply flip them? I don't know). The rooms facing the courtyard with no windows are awful. We had one on the end of the hall, so we couldn't even keep our blinds open as people were walking by our room every few minutes. No way to open windows, so stuck in a room that smelled of cigarette smoke, mold, and years of spills and body odor. During the winter - please shut down and deep clean for 2 weeks straight. It's unhygienic at this point.

Old and outdated decor/installations. TV and Wi-Fi was not working and the towels were stained. Definitely needs to be better even if you want a cheap option

Bedding had stains. Curtains had stains. Toilet flushed itself every 15 minutes. The smell of the pool was overpowering for the dining area. Hallway of 4th floor stunk like sulfur and was very unpleasant. Breakfast was bad. Bagels seemed day old and the sausage patties and eggs were tasteless. The location to Clifton Hill and the Casino was great though.

Pros: convenient location to falls, parking and breakfast included, staff especially front desk, were so personable and quick. Cleaning staff kept breakfast area clean. Cons: rooms were filthy. We had to pull fride out to change temp, and hadnt been cleaned in 5+ years. At least 1 inch of dust and hair. Socks underwear and tons of garbage behind dresser. 2 lightbulbs burned out. Carpet stained and stinky and walls peeling. AC did not work properly in room. Facing the courtyard so no natural light. 4 days in dimness. Rooms smelled musty and the entire hotel needs a 2 week deep clean with no guests. I dont care about a fancy hotel but i do expect a moderate level of clean. This hotel is at a 3/10 on cleanliness at best. Area: nighttime many shady characters walking through parking lot and checking car doors. 11pm to 8am... A dismal scene. Went for an early morning walk to mcdonalds for coffee. Regretted doing so. We wouldnt stay here again unless cleanlines is addressed.

The experience was not great. The building had an unpleasant smell throughout, possibly due to mould. The pool area was concerning due to the tiles that so dirty that someone had written “clean me” on them, which speaks volumes about the maintenance standards. Another concerning topic was the lack of security at night. All doors were left open, and the night staff were unavailable — no response at the front desk or via phone. This raised serious safety concerns. The property is in urgent need of a deep clean and may require a health inspection. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here until these issues are properly addressed.
