We liked that the room was so spacious with a large balcony and the access to fresh air. Also the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice with two sink areas. Things seemed very clean. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was a definit bonus. Price was reasonable too with easy access to the falls. Would definitely stay again.

Clean room, decent bed, love the pools, nice patio and very friendly staff. Having a room with adjoining door made it very difficult to sleep as the people in the room next to us started to have a conversation at 5am. You could hear every word and kept me from sleeping. The hotel should get rid of the doors and replace it with a brick wall.

The room condition was not well-kept and turned what was supposed to be a relaxing experience into a stressful one. Selected this room for the jetted tub, once in the tub you could see debris and brown stains around the jets/faucet. The shower itself had buildup between the tiles... If you look up when lying down in the bed, you can see the ceiling paint has peeled off above. Staff were not as hospitable or welcoming as has been my experience with other IHG properties. Unfortunately really regret this stay and won't be coming back.

Great stay

We had a great time! The gentlemen working the Front desk was friendly, informative and extremely helpful. We got free parking which is a big deal in Niagara Falls. Our daughter ate free and we enjoyed dinner and Breakfast at Coco's the hotel's restaurant. They also gave us tickets to the skywheel to watch the firesworks. We enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi, it was clean and fabulous!

Awesome experience. Highly recommend. Close to the Falls, walkable to restaurants and shopping. Free parking is a plus. None other offers this deal. The receptionist are so welcoming. Two pools indoor (heated) and outdoor, sauna and hot tub. Small gym but nice. Vending machine with snacks and a restaurant onsite. Definitely recommend.

We booked two rooms for one night at Holiday Inn by the Falls, Ontario, primarily because the booking site showed photos suggesting views of Niagara Falls, especially from the dining area. We paid around £100 (CAD190) a night for each room. Unfortunately, this turned out to be misleading—there are no actual Falls views from the hotel. The only view we got was parking lot at the back from my balcony. When we raised this with the front desk, the response was, “Our ad says ‘by the Falls,’ not ‘with Falls views.’” That explanation was frustrating and dismissive, especially considering how prominently the Falls are featured in the hotel’s promotional photos. If the hotel doesn't offer views, those images should not be used—it’s misleading and disappointing for guests who are paying with that expectation in mind. On the positive side, the hotel is clean, and the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. Breakfast was good, and the staff in the dining area were friendly and welcoming. Overall, while the stay was fine in terms of cleanliness and service, the main reason we chose this hotel was for the Falls view, and in that regard, it completely failed to meet expectations. If you're considering this hotel because of the advertised view, be aware: there isn't one.
