Family of four, all adults. The location, just off the Palais de Justice square, was excellent.Close to many great restaurants and bars. It was within walking distance to the tram and train in one direction, and a short walk to the beach and beach clubs in the other.

Great location in the middle of Old Town Nice with plenty of food options just steps from the hotel. Our dryer didn’t work for part of the trip but the staff were helpful and dried our stuff for us. The hotel is on the older side which wasn’t bad, but the bathroom sometimes had a sewage smell that came from the drain. Maybe it was because we were in the first floor. Overall, it was a decent stay, but I don’t think I’d call it a 4-star hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect! Close to dinning, shopping, promenade. We has the 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect for 4 people. The loft part is for people under 5’4” but it was perfect for us. Parking in the area is restricted but you can be dropped off 2 minutes away. Loved the place & the location.

Very spacious and beautiful apartment well situated in the heart of Nice. Staff was phenomenal. Extremely comfortable for an average family. Many dining and shopping options close to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

A perfect location and an amazing space!

My family of three stayed at Hotel Palais Saleya for 5 nights this past week and we couldn't have loved it any more! The location was absolutely perfect in the old town close to amazing restaurants! It was a short walk to the beach and farmer's market as well! The suite with loft was just perfect for my 23 year old daughter, husband and myself with plenty of space to feel comfortable. Great amenities including a washer/dryer! The dryer didn't dry clothes as well as expected, but we were able to hang clothes and use the hair dryer or towel warmer if needed. The staff at the front desk were extremely kind, helpful and knowledgable! The tram was super close that could take you many places including the train station. We highly recommend this boutique hotel and would definitely stay here again!

This was the second 4-star hotel we stayed in during our trip and unfortunately Palais Saleya didn't hit the mark or come close to the experience we had in hour first 4-star hotel. First let me say that the hotel is very centrally located. You are right in the middle of everything and just a few minute walk to the morning market and the beach. The front desk staff were friendly. The lobby area is very basic. There is no "wow" factor like a lobby bar or restaurant or room for much of anything when you walk in. The room at first glance was very nice but the closer you look, the more it felt like they did the minimum to meet requirements for 4-star. The shower had rust and mold. There were scratch marks on the floor and the walls. The shower head on the ceiling barely worked. The headboard area of the bed had markings and my side table was filthy. They have a dishwasher but no soap. Housekeeping instead of cleaning my coffee cups would just put them in the dishwasher and leave them. They had laundry machine but no soap. The hand soap pump in the bathroom wasn't working so we pulled it off the wall and opened it - signaling there was a problem. Housekeeping didn't fix it. They left our used towels on the floor. At checkout I wasn't asked how my stay was - or at any time for that matter. If this was a 3-star hotel, my expectations wouldn't have been as high. Unfortunately I would not recommend this property.

The location was fabulous! Right in the heart of old town surrounded by lots of restaurants and places to grab a drink. However, it might not be ideal for light sleepers, we were on the 3rd floor and could hear noise from down below well into the early hours. It's a trade off, it didn't bother us, but can imagine it would if we were lower down floors or to easily irritated by noise. Rooms were spacious and staff were friendly. Overall a good experience

We had a great 4 night stay at the Palais Saleya Hotel. Very friendly staff who helped us with all of our questions in navigating the area. The hotel room was spotless and the cleaning crew were amazing each day. The location is perfect right in the center of everything, very safe, and less than a 5 minute walk to the beach front. On the weekends it can be slightly noisy due to the hotel being right in the center of everything, but it didn’t bother us at all, we had no trouble sleeping especially with the AC keeping us nice and cool throughout our stay. Would absolutely stay again!
