We love this cottage, unfortunately this stay was less magical than the last. There was construction happening next door during our whole stay, not the hosts fault but still wasnt ideal!While mice entering cottages in cool weather is normal, we found mouse droppings in the living room and in the cutlery drawer. Upon notifying the host, no resolution was offered - no 'here's where the bleach is' or 'can i send a cleaner over'.Also, a realtor came and put up a for sale sign while we were there. Was strange to look outside and see it next to our vehicle.We also had chimney sweepers come by while we were there. While we don't mind, they were supposed to come by in the afternoon and instead showed up at 8am without any warning.The waterfront was beautiful as always, the view as well! The bathroom renovation is very cute. We tried many restaurants in the area, the golf course was our favorite.Last thing, bring Nespresso pods! There is also a drip coffee machine.

Beautiful Place, Needs Someone Local

The place was really cozy and the spa a nice winter treat (if a bit bleachy). The railroad trail across the road offered a good and peaceful walk/ski. The only problem was the host was in Montreal, which made some things difficult. When we arrived we had the wrong door code and that was a bit unnerving. There was an ice storm and no salt for the walk or road, and we had to haul wood in for the fireplace. But that stuff was really minor. Hadi always responded quickly when we called or texted, and most everything was easily sorted out.

Wonderful elopement!

We loved staying at the cottage and eloping by the beach. The view is perfect, and the cottage has everything you need readily available. We plan to return!

Chalet Nominigue
