We enjoyed our stay. Onsite staff were helpful and friendly. It was nice to have chairs and umbrella available and all the small things provided. My only issue was that not enough toilet paper was provided so we had to go and buy some and a few extra towels would have been helpful. Other than that we loved it and would highly recommend

This is not a review of Aruba's Life Residences, as we were never actually placed there. This is a review of Casiola, the property management company, in hopes that it helps other travelers avoid a similar experience. We reserved a specific apartment through Expedia only to be informed upon arrival that we were being placed in a completely different unit. The company told us that the reservation “came through that way from Expedia” and instructed us to call Expedia. When we contacted Expedia we were told that the original property was overbooked. Casiola claimed the alternative property was of equal value — it was not. The replacement unit was significantly smaller, older, and in poor condition. There was visible mold in the bathroom, ants in the kitchen, with no soundproofing — we could hear everything happening outside the unit. Even worse, there was no separation between units when it came to smells. We could clearly smell everything the neighboring unit was cooking. It was uncomfortable and unacceptable, especially considering what we had originally reserved and paid for. Instead of enjoying our first evening in Aruba, we spent four hours on the phone with Expedia to resolve the issue, followed by another two hours the next morning. Thankfully, Expedia ultimately helped relocate us to a different property that actually had the amenities and standards we originally booked. Losing six hours of our vacation time to fix a mistake that was not ours was extremely frustrating.

The room was clean. Our unit had a very firm bed, which I found uncomfortable. The pool was excellent, the gardens/grass was well maintained. Our unit had a washer/dryer which was great, not all units have this. Ground floor with very easy access to the pool. The surrounding neighbour I would not consider safe to walk. There were many wild dogs wandering about. The residence is not close to anything, you will need to rent a car. The security personnel and property management were helpful when any issues occurred.

Aruba's Life Residence is worth spending your hard earned money on. Property is very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Front desk lady helped us book the rental and gave some awesome suggestions for sightseeing. Pool area is very nice and adds a nice touch to the property. I was very pleased with the room. Sheets were clean. Kitchen was well maintained all the pots, pans and utensils were clean and shiny. Microwave, fridge and the stove all were in great working condition. Bathroom was well stocked with toilet papers and toiletries. Room's A\C was on prior to our arrival which was very delightful. Upon entering the room getting that cool breeze was much needed because it was HOT.I have no negative remarks about the property. The only thing if I have to pinpoint then it was about the cooking smell in the kitchen area that kept lingering around throughout our stay but other than that everything was perfect. I wish I could upload the video but that option is not available.
