I loved this property, it’s directly on the beach, which is absolutely beautiful. You have dining choices all day right on property, which is super convenient. A short walk away is all kinds of shops and dining options too! One thing I wasn’t crazy about was the bed, it’s super hard but we overlooked it when staying at such a gorgeous resort.

Check in was a breeze. Theybwere doing construction but it did not impact us. The gift shop was VERY pricey. But that also doesnt make me want to leave a bad review. What i didnt enjoy was property did.not.follow theough with people reserving pool loungers. There arent many to begin with and when entitled guests think they can leave their stuff without a care in the world. We have balcony over looking the pool and enjoyed our loungers up on the balcony but watching all the empty "reserved" chairs with towels on them, was very annoying. There is a no reaerve policy and no one cared. Suxkedwhen we wanted to swim. Also the wave shack was not good and the staff needs.training. the cross contamination made me not want to eat there after ordering our food. No we did not say anything. We just didnt eat there again. Overall, will stay there again once renovations are finished. Our room, the mattress felt like an old school sprin matress on wood slats that creaked everytime we moved, waking us up nightly.

Stayed in a one bedroom in the beach tower overlooking the pool and ocean. Amazing view. Room had a washer/dryer, dishwasher and full kitchen (no oven), but stove, blender, toaster, microwave and fridge with ice maker. Construction noise was minimal. Taxi to the middle of the strip totally worth it at $7 a ride. Get up early for a pool palapa. However there are plenty at the beach. You can BBQ food which is nice option.

We stayed at the Divi Phoenix in room 833 on June 24th-29th. We have been coming to Aruba yearly and decided to try a new resort. I wanted to love this place because the grounds were beautiful but we will never stay here again. First day we were there we had to wait to check in because our flight got in early… understandable however the bathrooms were out of order and when my husband asked to use the bathroom they told him they only had bathrooms for females? Odd. First red flag. When we got to the room it REEKED LIKE MOLD. It was so pungent it was hard to breathe. We asked front desk for another room, they said they would get back to us never did. Next day I went to go to the gym, that was closed until further notice. Bummer. The bathroom showers were beautiful but set up weird so water would shoot everywhere on the floor. The drain covers were loose. The kitchen drawers were hard to open. It seems like the whole place needs a full renovation. Our washer/dryer in unit wasn’t working we called front desk multiple times to look at it. We had one person come once to look and he “reset the code” but still didn’t work. Front desk didn’t do anything for us. At the end of the day we go to Aruba for the beautiful island not to stay in the room so we made the best of it. We felt like the staff had an opportunity to make our stay better but was let down by their lack of follow through. We did love the pools, free palapas with beach set ups. The beach staff and servers were excellent
