✹ Cross-country skiing – Well-groomed ski trails right by the cabin take you deep into the mountains, with routes all the way to Beitostølen.
✹ Downhill skiing – Valdres Alpine Center is nearby, with ski-in access. The slopes suit both beginners and experienced skiers.
✹ Fishing – Several nearby mountain lakes offer great fishing, whether you prefer a quiet summer evening by the water or exciting autumn fishing.

You’ll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding peaks as you drive through majestic landscapes at over 1,300 meters altitude. The area offers wonderful hiking opportunities – from short walks to full-day mountain hikes.

Right by Valdresflye lies Jotunheimen National Park, Norway’s high mountain paradise. This area is famous for its majestic peaks, crystal-clear lakes, and breathtaking landscapes. Here you’ll find some of Norway’s most iconic mountains, such as Besseggen, Galdhøpiggen (the highest mountain in Northern Europe), and Glittertind. Jotunheimen is ideal for hiking, cycling, cross-country skiing in winter, and year-round nature experiences.
