We came to run the marathon for the first time in Chicago and we discovered an oasis in oak park. The location was close to the train to get into the city. The neighborhood was both historic and very walkable. A number of very good restaurants were near by. Host was excellent and very responsive to all our questions. I wish we had more time to explore.

We were pleasantly surprised by this property, and wished that our travel itinerary was such that we could have stayed more than just one night. Beth, the innkeeper, is personable and tends to every detail. The property is lovely and peaceful. Great dining options just a walk away, train to the city around the corner, and a lovely neighborhood to walk around and revel in the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright. Highly recommended inn.
