Quarry Cottage sijaitsee kukkulalla Koillis-kylässä ja on vertaansa vailla olevat näkymät Inner Village. Se on houkutteleva yhden kerroksen irrotettu mökki, paikallisten kiven edessä.

Tilavassa majoituksessa on: - käytävä, joka johtaa: suihkuhuone (suihku, w ja pesuallas); avokeittiö (uuni, liesi, jääkaappi, jääpalakone, mikroaaltouuni ja astianpesukone) / ruokailu / olohuone, jossa puulämmitteinen liesi ja ovi, jotka johtavat laskeutuvaan istuinalueeseen. Olohuoneen eteinen johtaa suureen kahden hengen makuuhuoneeseen, joka on mökin edessä. Tilava kahden hengen makuuhuone ja kylpyhuone (jossa kylpyamme, yli-kylpy sähköinen suihku, w ja pesu-pesuallas) ovat takana rakennuksen.

Mökki pääsee jyrkästi kaltevalle ajotieltä pihalta ja pysäköintipaikka on rakennuksen takaosassa.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Kilmefordin kirkko. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa esimerkiksi pyykinpesutilat. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi keittiön ja takan.

Beautiful peaceful location.

Set in a beautiful location, quarry cottage was just perfect. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely swimming pool, games room, snooker room. Lots of lovely walks and amazing wild life. Particularly loved the bird table. Watching all the different birds coming and going all day long. Could of happily stayed forever.

A true gem to find!

An excellent discovery of the Melfort Village. Our cottage was perfect in every way. Clean and very cosy with all the essentials. The location is really good as if is slightly raised over the village and the view from the main area and master bedroom is stunning. You can see over the villages and through the lake. Our kids were very happy to play in front of the house too. We have stayed in late October but otherwise the patio table would be a perfect place to have your morning coffee ☕️ ! There is no washing machine. That would be the only bit missing. But there are laundry facilities on-site. Highly recommended place and we are hoping to be back!

Great cottage for family holiday

Probably our favourite cottage in Melfort Village. Two large bedrooms and two bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. Open plan living space and fabulous views across the hills. Great proximity to the facilities but also nice and quiet. Would thoroughly recommend.

Enjoyable short break

Very pleasant cottage. Cosy and warm, enjoyed having log burner on but not essential for heat. On-site restaurant pleasant and welcoming, good food, reasonable priced. Music night on Monday evening well worth attending, local musicians as well as some regular holiday makers playing and singing folk songs. Located in quiet area, good for walking with our dogs.

3 Day Last Minute Booking

My wife and I found the cottage warm, clean, well equipped and well provided with documentation. The view over the grounds is most attractive. A minor criticism we would draw to your attention is the approach by car to the rear of the cottage. This is rather steep and the space for turning restricted. Pre-warning about this and advice on use of the use of the side track to reverse onto would be helpful.

Great Week

A great week or the family. a lot to do on site and great walks. Cycling immediately outside the village was limited and not suitable for kids. Lots of good extra activities, we enjoyed kayaking, boat trip to corryvreckan and the horse riding. The staff at the village were superb.

Another wonderful holiday

The fifth time we have stayed at Melfort Village, but the first time in Quarry Cottage. It is the highest property, and the outlook is excellent. Maintenance of the cottage, and of the whole complex, is of the highest order. Despite a very poor weather forecast, our week was not spoiled by rain. There was a little, but not enough to stop us from exploring the area, and our day on Luing was exceptionally bright. All members of staff we encountered were very helpful and anxious to please. We ate in the Shower of Herring on our first night and the quality of the food was superb. We did not stay for coffee, however, as the rush of customers was overwhelming the only waitress on duty. Molly, our Bearded Collie, enjoyed the walks around the village and particularly (as always) paddling in the Oude.

Beautiful Quarry Cottage, Melfort

We have just returned from a very relaxing week at Melfort. We stayed in the Quarry Cottage which was charming, clean, very well equipped and maintained to a high standard as was all of the grounds and amenities. This was our second visit and we are going again in November. Staff are very helpful & pleasant. Thank You

Another fantastic stay at Melfort Village

We love Melfort Village and it is by far the best timeshare we have stayed in. The location is fantastic and the properties are beautiful. There is an on site bar and restaurant which has changed hands since we were there last year. It is now so much more welcoming and is dog friendly. They also do take aways which we didn't try but seemed to be very popular. On a Monday evening they have a local musicians night which was fantastic. The whole resort is very dog friendly but spotlessly clean so everybody was clearly very responsible, We cant wait to go back.

Perfect location.

Have been to Melfort before but stayed in another property. Loved Quarry Cottage and had a very comfortable 5 day break. Staff very helpful. Cost was ok as we booked last minute and it was a cheaper time. Will definitely be back.
