Beautiful property on the beach with great dining and super friendly staff! Bonus that it was very pet friendly to accommodate my pup. :) Would love to come back, didn't want to leave!

Everything was as described on the website: clean comfortable beds, great atmosphere, great hotel staff. We were welcomed by Andrew at the front desk. We loved being right on the beach and not having to worry about chairs and towels. Would definitely stay here again!

You can have only side view of the ocean, not the full view for which I paid the price. They have tiny balconies on sides of the building. The beds were just full beds, not queens. The floor going toward the balcony was uneven and I tripped the first time, luckily did not hurt. Really Pet friendly though!

Great staff. Loved being on the beach and having service for food and drinks. Gym constantly at 79 degrees. Hotel doesnt have AC and utiolizes spot coolers. Room ac is good. First time they opened ip the main area windows and didnt none the the days. Thanks goodness the options are nice and. The staff are great.

The hotel overall was nice. But .. we stayed 3 nights and 4 days we only had house keeping come in one time. They cleaned it out last night after having to call three times. Another thing on their main website very big the offer room service which they do not actually have. They give two towels. There’s no towel racks in the bathroom. No microwave. And the hotel restaurants can not re heat food. Also for having 16 floors the 4 small elevators were not enough there was a constant line and people shoving in the elevator together, the bars and restaurants were very good and the employees who worked for the bars and restaurants were super friendly and helpful. The tide room and the wahoo bar and tap room! But u can visit them places even if you do not book this hotel! The hotel its self is super nice but however the management is poor. The plants around the building are dying it would take a few minutes to have them watered properly! Also do not drink the water they leave it’s a $7 charge after not giving room service. The view for the room is cool because u can see the bay and the beach but there’s no sitting room it’s a one person triangular balcony!!

The location is very nice. The beach was never more than four rows deep. Chairs, towels and umbrellas are provided. If they run out of an item, you can rent from the vendor that is next to them and take the receipt to the front desk for a credit on your bill. Bus stop is right in front of the resort. It took us 45 minutes to get to the boardwalk and about 30 minutes to return. There are lots of dining choices within walking distance. The rooms are decent but nothing special. There is a very small fridge but not a microwave. Despite signage for vending machines there are none to be found.

I think Ashore offers amazing value and wonderful amenities. Things like the bar, access to beach chairs and umbrellas. Very helpful and courteous staff overall a wonderful resort. That I will definitely be staying at again.next summer. There are only two things that need attention. First is the elevator's some were offline and the waiting time average from 5-15min. I found myself using the stairwell alot (walking up and down to my hotel room on the 11th floor). I think management needs to invest in studying elevator technology and waiting times. That can turn off alot of future customers. The last thing would be the room. Although they are absolutely wonderful with a gorgeous beach view. I think it would help customers alot to have one simple rug (optional) in front of the couch. Going back and forth to the beach sand builds up on the floor and can make walking around uncomfortable. A simple small rug would be a good touch in the room to elieviate walking on sand in your room. Other than that everything was wonderful and I look forward to staying there again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay but I can see why it is a 3 Star hotel. Room was mostly clean, though we did find some sand between the freshly made bed. We also had an issue getting the guide on the TV to work, again, not a huge issue but when I called the desk I was told maintenance would be up to fix it and they never came. Wasn't warned that they put a $100 hold on a credit card for incidentals. Not a huge deal, but if you're traveling on a budget that is probably good to know ahead of time. Ironically, they never explain how you can charge incidentals to your room. Beach service was fantastic. Server came by several times and drinks came quick and were fantastic! 10/10 for the Orange Crush and Margarita! While the drinks were great, I would skip eating at the outdoor restaurant. Overpriced and mediocre at best. Stick to the drinks. The only major issue we had was on the beach with the beach staff. Ashore provides chairs and umbrellas which is awesome, but we had been on the beach for about an hour when a staff member came and asked us to move bc they wanted the umbrella and chairs for a photo shoot. We said no bc there were 3 more umbrellas and 6 chairs empty next to us and we already settled in. He mentioned security and we said okay bc there were no signs on the seats saying they were reserved. He never came back and other than Scopes, we never saw a photo shoot. They also had plenty of other umbrellas and chairs for the shoot so harassing us was unnecessary.
