I stayed during the off season and you cannot beat the price for what you get. Modern hotel with newly renovated rooms, plenty of space, and direct access to the boardwalk. I stayed in a "partial" ocean view room but it still provided a great view of both the ocean and the bay from the balcony. I did not bring a pet but I saw many dog breeds during my stay, so this seems to be the spot for dog lovers. Only downsides are breakfast and parking are charged separately and there is a fire station nearby which could be a concern for light sleepers.

I was unpleasantly surprised when I booked a city view at a beachfront property that the room was in a building across the street from the main hotel. When we missed a room cleaning we called the front desk and they said they would send someone right over. No one showed up. Finally I left a jacket in the room when we checked out and I notified the property per their instructions. It's been a week and I've never heard anything back from them. To be fair I will say that the room was nice and clean and obviously in a new building.

Overall our stay was excellent. We booked a 2 queen oceanfront which was directly on the boardwalk. Awesome ocean view. The front desk and housekeeping staff were excellent. I was surprised however that there was no microwave in the room, and no fan in the bathroom.

We paid for partial ocean view and were given the first room next to the elevator. Not much view and very noisy in the hallway outside the room. Asked a few times if we could be moved but no luck. One time the front desk said "the system was down and they did not know when it would come back up". Elevators were very slow especially when cleaning crew were using them. Would not stay here again. Too many other options available on the boardwalk.

Amanda is superb when servicing guests needs! Great view from the balcony, friendly cleaning staff. The only downside was the location of the bicycle rack. The rack is pushed up against a wall located just outside of one of the entrances and interferes with 2 parking spots. There is no way to lock and store bikes properly with this limited and inconvenient location
