100 year old hotel should not be renting it out because they don’t keep up with it. It’s the last summer and they are knocking it down. They should let Expedia know that. Everything was falling apart and it was gross.

The beds were not the correct size, the microwave and refrigerator were disgusting and hadn't been cleaned, the pullout couch bed was unusable, there was mold all over the ceiling in the main area and bathroom, and in the bathroom, the tub clearly hadn't been cleaned and had a hair clog, most of the outlets didn't work, cockroaches in the room, this place is a dump and I'm disgusted with the amount I paid for these conditions.

Property is very old and not clean. Rooms very outdated. Did not get maid service after 3 days despite asking for it. No hair dryers in room or facility at all. No breakfast. Nothing.

Needs a major update or needs to be tore down

On any weekend, there should be at least 2 to 3 people helping out with check-in. The poor gentleman at the front desk was overheated because the air condition was not getting to him because everybody kept opening the door to the hotel to come inside. He also needs to be a little bit more strict with the people that are coming to stay that always keeps forgetting their licenses and IDs in their car like don’t these people know that when they check in anywhere they always have to have that on hand that’s what really kept up the whole line if people actually can’t prepared. Also, the elevator was out. The stairs were not as sturdy, and it was very musky and muggy in the stairway the room was nice except for some of the mold and the wetness on the floors from the AC part of the hotel near the window. It felt like the floor was gonna drop because it was so wet. The bathroom wasn’t as clean they could replace the toilet the tub the refrigerator everything was really outdated but honestly for the price you get what you get and we were there on a girls trip and we basically were only in the hotel room to change to sleep and that’s about it. We spent most of our time on the beach and on the boardwalk, but for future visit, we will not be returning to this hotel.

I wouldn’t do this again

Everything was is poor condition. Doors didn’t close properly, we had to have our toilet fixed as soon as we got there, water temp changed at will, the walls looked mid repair, no WiFi, broken elevator, all blinds were broken, a manager who didn’t care about the complaints of another guest I witnessed, carpet was coming up around the edges, rusted everything, but no bugs! And the little window air conditioner was great, the built in hotel unit was broken.

The photos on the website was nothing like what we saw in person the electric went off every 5mins! ?? We were told if someone is his hairdryer that can cause that the room smells like mold and my husband felt it on his chest since he is a lung patient just the worst experience ever !

Needs improvement

The room smelled musty the moment you entered. The first bathroom floor was uneven. The second bathroom had water condensation on the ceiling above the shower (we had just arrived and had not used the bathroom). The wall of the shower was also coming off. The bedsheets werent clean. The sofabed had a used towel rolled in it. The noise from other guests while late at night sitting at the courtyard was heard very loud and clear, especially in the one bedroom. We checked out after the first night. I wasnt expecting an amazing room but I was at least expecting better for what I paid. I was refunded the remaining nights that I didnt stay there.

Rented an apartment but for the nightly rate it was unclean and neglected looking. No ice available for any patrons. Outside of the convient location everything else done went downhill since they know its getting renovated this offseason

POSITIVE: Staff was awesome - the ladies I spoke with were always smiling and really nice - Right on the boardwalk so great location. NEGATIVE: TV barely picked up channels when we tried to turn on - We felt bedsprings - Ceiling looks old and ready to fall.
