Hotel was on the beach which made for great sunrises. It was nice to wake up and head over to the beach. The bathroom was very nice, shower was clean. However I would not return to this hotel. Our floor of our hotel room was super dirty. Socks/ our feet constantly were black. The front desk staff was not friendly. We unfortunately went during a hurricane so the weather not the warmest, but the hotel did not accommodate this change. The A/c was blasting and the pool area was so cold. Both kids were shivering after a few mins in the pool. The room was supposed the come with a small dining table with two chairs but they were absent. We saw multiple empty rooms and asked management if we could have a table/ chair from the empty rooms to which we were told no. I booked the a “suite style with the two bedrooms” through Expedia bc my parents were with us. The hotel did not recognize this. Instead we had two completely separate bedrooms on different floors. We requested for the bedrooms to even be on the same floor which was denied.

This is my second time staying. The hotel is wonderful. The bell boys were very quick to get our luggage. The front desk was super quick. The hotel is renovated and cleaned thoroughly. The pool is indoors which helps in bad weather. We had a clogged bathroom sink upon checkin and it was resolved in 10 minutes. The same think with a locked safe. The hotel is run very well. The oceanview room we had was a bit smaller than a regular room but the views were worth it. Highly recommended.

This was the best non condo hotel room we have ever stayed in on vacation. The pictures on the listing don't do it justice for how large the room is. We go a 2 queen with partial ocean view. This is essentially a small apartment, there is an actual bedroom separate from a living room and kitchen. The facility was immaculate and the hallways were well lit. The room was updated with modern features. This will be our go to hotel from now on when we stay in OC!

Mid week summer stay

Check-in and parking very good…room was recently renovated and clean…housekeeping only upon request, but towels delivery after an hour…bedroom door wouldn’t stay open…disposal in kitchenette didn’t work… two tvs, but tv in bedroom didn’t work even after hotel “engineer” was called…beach access and bar (open til 10pm and with nearly continuous live entertainment) were quite nice….

Amazing Hotel

We had the oceanfront view King bed suite on the 3rd floor and it was one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed at! Room was very spacious, the beach was very accessible. A full size fridge, a place to cook food, a large sink, plates, cups, coffee mugs, utensils and a kuerig. Very nice atmosphere and comfortable furniture. Service was responsive and with effort. Overall staff were very nice and answered any questions we had. Only downsides were that the elevators could be a little confusing, the pool and arcade were a bit smaller than expected, and the hotel doesnt offer free bags of ice or breakfast. There is a restaurant that has breakfast if you pay, though. None of these were deal breakers just small inconveniences. But overall was amazing!

The property was beautiful. The staff is kind. I loved the convenience of parking, dining and shopping all in one area. Beachfront was amazing. The crab cake at the restaurant The Current was wonderful. I would love to experience a longer stay with my family. We stayed for two days. I would definitely visit the property again.
