Immerse yourself in downtown Ocean Springs at the Porch on Government Street. Newly renovated, this warm and inviting, accessible one-bedroom cottage allows a perfect retreat yet romantic enough for a couple ready to enjoy the night life, walks by the beach, or downtown yet comfortable enough to accommodate a family of three looking to experience the many parades and other family-friendly entertainment within walking distance. 

The Magnolia Suite Cottage is our ADA compliant and pet friendly cottage .

COMING SOON- a fully enclosed dog run located in the back of the cottages . This unit allows for easy access via a side ramp to take your precious pet out for walks. Besides the back dog run area , there are two open spaces located on Government street which allows for ample space for your dog to run.

The Porch is centrally located for quick walking access to the beach, shopping, dining, festivals, and galleries. The Magnolia Suite consists of 1 bedroom and large bathroom with double vanities, tiny kitchen, massive walk-in shower, and in-suite laundry. The suite also features a separate living room which includes a full-sized futon sofa sleeper. 

Our tiny kitchen includes such amenities as a toaster oven/air fryer, Keurig coffee maker, two-burner plug-in stove top, and compact refrigerator with freezer. There is also an ice maker, electric grill on site and large outdoor dining area that seats twelve, along with two fire pits in our shared courtyard area. 

The Porch also has free WiFi, ample off street parking ,fun lawn games , tons of books in our tiny libraries , organic spa products , beach chairs and a yoga mats for use during your stay.  Sound machines and blackout curtains are provided for an even deeper sleep. All king beds are enveloped in sanitary mattress covers and all pillows have zipped protectors on them. We also are a carpet free establishment and all area rugs are washable!  

We have the most wonderful family that has lovingly cared for the cottages for many years and are industrial cleaners. This means we not only clean all units using the most sanitary measures , but deep cleanings and maintenance come with the whole package. 

The spacious bathroom offers a large walk in shower , smart mirrors with lighted and fog technology , spa robes and high end organic spa products.

The Porch was dreamed up by a former Publicist who took the best of her travels to New York, Miami and Los Angeles and blended chic amenities of the best hotels and paired them into cozy southern cottages. You will find magical touches infused at our properties such as bistro lights, in room fireplaces and outdoor firepits. A lighted memory wall for photo ops and nooks hidden throughout to invoke the imagination. Magic truly happens at the Porch!

Pet rules: 

Pets not allowed to roam freely in the cottages unattended . Please bring a crate with you. 

Out of respect for other guests, we do not allow pets in the gated courtyard located on the front side of Government street as this area often as kids playing and we want to keep it free of any pet waste. 

Please remove all pet waste, additional fees will be added if pet waste is found on our property managers and housekeeping staff. 

Please be mindful of barking / noise from your furry friends. 

No pets allowed at any time on furniture or bed. 

Don't forget to ask about our add-on packages for firewood and Smores kits (including electric tabletop option with everything needed for Smores).

 *There are a total of four one bedroom / one bathroom cottages on site and completely fenced in, which make it the perfect venue  for larger corporate groups, large families or reunions. All cottages reserved together can accommodate up to 16 guests.
