We had a great stay at this property in March/April 2026 with our elementary aged kids and dog. The neighborhood is nice and quiet but conveniently located to hop on the interstate to the zoo or downtown. Also we found plenty of restaurants and stores nearby and enjoyed Prehistoric Putt. The house is nice and very spacious, and the kitchen is quite well-appointed. We appreciated the 2 separate living spaces in the living room and basement. The king master and 3 queens are all together on the upper level, which was perfect for us, and there is a set of twin bunkbeds in the basement. The mattresses were a bit firm for our taste, but the linens are very nice. You can park in the double garage, which is a nice extra feature. Kids loved the games in the basement. There are coat hooks by the garage door, closets in every bedroom, and two vanity cabinets in the master bath—great touches to help keep things organized. Keep in mind there are a lot of stairs here—3 half flights because of the split level. Our dog made good use of the fenced backyard and it was helpful that the kitchen was gated to contain him when we left. The yard could use some cleanup where it looks like there used to be a pool, he got a little muddy on rainy days. The host was very responsive and friendly. We found one small problem with a dripping pipe, and he let me decide whether to have someone come in to fix it while we were there or wait until we left—very accommodating.
