Such a fantastic hotel! All the staff was so amazing and then hotel is gorgeous and in a great location. The boat pickup in the lobby to the private island was the highlight! We saw so many animals while spending time enjoying the island. Highly recommend getting a cabana at the island and recommend this great hotel overall!

I enjoyed my stay and was pleasantly surprised with balloons and a delicious chocolate mousse cake in celebration of my birthday! On my first day I was not satisfied with the partial ocean view I was given, the staff moved us to a more ocean view i appreciated the accommodation and the move was seamless thanks to the staff assistance. The pool area was kept clean I saw the pool get cleaned every morning. There was also a shuttle that would take us between the two properties. We were offered cold water when we arrived. The staff were all knowledgeable about the area. I will definitely return to this property next time with the family. The view was amazing we could see the cruise ships from the Renaissance.

I really like returning to the Resort, it had. been twenty years since my last visit. In general, I was happy with everything. I did get food poisoning on the second night, that experience really challenged the rest of my stay. Though I reported the incident, I have to say I was not happy overall with the response. I never got to know the incident was reported to the chef at LG's Steakhouse. It would have been much better to receive a personalized email from the staff or the chef acknowledging the moment. Sadly, I did not get that and that colors my review.

We had a great stay at the Renaissance hotel in Aruba. The staff were friendly and patient, luxury shopping literally below the hotel and plenty of local eateries within walking distance. And they have a free water taxi to the flamingo island which normally would cost $100 for people who aren’t staying at the hotel. The hotel has an adult part and a kid friendly part. The only complaint I have is noises from our neighboring unit, there is a door that separates the two unit and you can literally hear their conversation while laying in bed. Besides poor sound proof, everything has been phenomenal. Highly recommend for both adults and families.
