Our family checked into this property got our room card and proceeded to the room. My husband took all 3 children aged 3, 5 and 10 year old outside and once they proceeded up the stairs they were meet with a swarm of wasps. All I heard from inside of the property was deadly screams coming from all of my kids and my husband yelling for me to give him a towel. There was a wasps net underneath of the stairs and my 6 year old got stung 8 times on the face, legs and arms. My 10 year old got 1 bite and my husband got bite 7 times on head arms, stomach and legs. Thankfully our 3 year old didn’t get stung. My 6 year old face blew up and looked horrible we had to rush out of the room and go straight to the closest pharmacy to buy Benadryl to stop her reaction from being stung so many times. We had such a horrific experience and made a complaint to the front desk as we were driving to the pharmacy. They switched our room and apologized and said they would pass the message onto the manager. We had stayed there for 2 nights and not one phone call from any management to speak to us about our incident. This was super scary for our family and our children are now terrified of wasps. Our children could have had a deadly reaction to the stings and no one cared to reach out to see how any of us our doing. Very unprofessional behavior and very disappointing that the property doesn’t check its grounds for these types of things. Could have been a deadly situation.
