Nice APA hotel in Shin-Osaka

This chain hotel in Shin-Osaka is an excellent choice for travelers. It’s conveniently located right next to the Shinkansen station, making it ideal for transit and exploring the city. The room was a good size and followed the typical efficient layout you’d expect from APA hotels—compact but comfortable. One of the highlights was the public spa, which offered a relaxing experience after a day of travel. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise—very convenient and delicious. They served a great mix of typical Japanese dishes like ramen, alongside Western options such as croissants and sandwich bread. Overall, a very solid stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a taste of both Japanese and Western hospitality.

I like the set up of the room, these rooms are very small so if you have a lot, or in my case a bicycle, it can be challenging. I love though that I was able to take my bike with me hassle free. (Most hotels wont allow this in japan) the staff were extremely helpful! And this is consistent with all my APA hotel exspirences.

Good but check-in procedure could be far better.

Our second APA hotel during our trip. Good budget-friendly hotel, not far from the train station. Only complaint is that we arrived a bit early, about 1pm but check-in is at 3pm. They would not pre-register us before 3pm so after a 2 hour wait, there was a whole lot of clients waiting like us in the hall in line for the check-in. At exactly 3pm they started to check in the clients all at the same time which is not what I would do if you ask me. Overall room was good, but I could not find a way to adjust the room temperature, probably my fault since I don't read japanese and the controls were not in English.

Good option for solo traveler

Good Size room for solo travel and good location. Consumables sometimes ran low for particular items, such as plastic slips. Washing machines and dryers are all in one. The cleaning cycle takes close to 2hrs. Overall, staff was helpful and meet all the basic needs that I want as a traveler.

Great place, never disappoint. The buffet brekky was one of the best we've had in this trip. Staff are very helpful especially the one in Reception. The lady took her time telling us how to get to Nara Park with just one transfer. Even with Google maps, it helps that staff are able to give us more options. So the best tip us, when in doubt, ask help from your hotel staff as they are willing to assist in any way they can. We have been to Japan 7 times and we always have enjoyed our stay. Each visit us different, yet one thing is certain, the Japanese will always be there to help. Just ask nicely, it makes a big difference. APA amenities are also better than most hotels we stayed in, they are the only ones so far that gave shower caps and lots of bins in the room for all types of rubbish, plus several paper cups for our cold and hot drinks. Our room might be smaller than the other ones we stayed in but it made up for the great amenities suited to our needs. Arigato gosaymas APA and staff!
