The limitation on these hotels is really about the character of the women who you can find to work there. A brand like APA has better luck in hiring because the pool is limited from the start due to politics. However, in an upper class suburban area elsewhere recently the Route Inn was the best Japanese business hotel I'd ever stayed in. It's really the governing factor.

We have to book this hotel at the last minute due to flight cancellation, Staff were very good ,but for us as non smokers the only room available was a smoking room which for us was uncomfortable to say the least. ....When was the last time you stayed in a hotel that had smoking room the hotel smelled strongly of smoke. The breakfast was geared to the Japanese very little apart from orange juice for europeans....

Good Hotel only 4 stops on JR line from Kansai. Japanese style breakfast simple but lots of choices . Beds i found a little hard but ok for overnight stay.

The hotel is very close to the station, but on the 9th floor, I was not bothered by the noise. Breakfast is excellent! The women's bath is a real bonus!!! You have to try it, at least once... then you'll be hooked...
