Seriously flawed propery that could be much more.

Paid over $400 for a 'lake view' with balcony... The balcony was literally 2 chairs plonked into the car park right where cars pulled into check-in and with a partial view of the lake, but with the smoking area taking up more of the view, with regular smokers staring in through the windows. Beach is awful and poorly maintained. While in a beautiful location the property gets the full wrath of the winds coming off the lake. Restaurant food is way overpriced, and way below average, service is so slow to a point that its almost unbelievable. Tho the views for the restaurant are amazing. Wasted potential - this locations needs a update Holiday Inn !! But I guess they are happy to just milk Canadians wanting to visit the area out of their hard earned loonies.

The property can be maintained and managed better. We stayed in a suite. It was hot and the AC was mild with no temperature control provided, hair dryer was not working. We asked for a fan and it was falling apart. It is very conveniently located, with parking and has its own small beach area.

From the front desk experience, to the restaurant, and all throughout, we encountered very friendly, helpful, hardworking staff. Our room was spacious and overlooking the water. The bathtub will need an upgrade soon, but still worked. The bed was very comfortable and very clean. We had a great time escaping the heat in this room. Thanks for a great stay!

The rooms are not ready during the time to check-in not sure why people sometimes check out earlier that check out time. Rooms are not vacuum well… cannot use our balcony because it is dusty and many spider webs. I phoned the front desk a day before to double check if rooms have microwave and whoever that staff answered said no.. i could brought some more foods for us and it end up there’s microwave

Not a great experience at all, from the time we checked in with the poor customer service from the front desk to our dishwasher not working and being $300 a night. To a dead rodent on the beach that hadn’t been cleaned up. We had a way better experience next door at the coast.
