After a many hour drive in snow and -17 weather got to room and temperature was stuck on 18 Celsius . Phone front desk. Someone came changed thermostat and said call back if didn’t work. Never changed. Called front desk. Said he would see if another room was free and check it for temperature. One hour passed. Room stuck at 18 Celsius. Went down to lobby (now 8:30 we are cold and exhausted and unhappy). Staff said oh is it still cold? Yes!!!! He checked in 2 men at the front desk while I waited, came over with Two keys to 610 and said I checked it and heater is fine. Went to new room - set temp at 35 C to have it warm up. Never got above 20C. Was -18C outside. Froze the whole night. Stayed there many times. This may be the last time. The clerk clearly lied. Never checked. Thermometer obviously set to default to 20C if no one was staying there. We are rewards members and history of staying there. Shabby unprofessional treatment.

Pool was under construction when we got there. They compensated us like 30$, which in my opinion isn’t enough considering it was the only decent thing about the hotel. Got a room for 4 and only had 3 towels. Overall the room was outdated and not in the best shape. Very low quality for the price. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Even if it was sold out with a few hockey team young kids, at 11pm everyone got in their room and it was quiet. It was clean and at the breakfast things went really well.

Room was perfect size and had everything we needed. Staff was very professional yet warm. Breakfast was the best we've seen in many years and started our day off very well. We'll be back for sure!

The hotel is dirty and tired. Elevator’s are filthy and the carpets throughout the property are years past the best before date. Staff were pleasant and helpful. You should take this property off your list.

The hotel was under renovations and we did not know this when booking. We really wanted a hotel with a pool for our mini vacation but it was under renovation when we arrived. EXPEDIA did not show renovations were in progess- we would have booked a different location. The staff were as nice a can be.

Room was nice. I was charged $100. extra on my credit card and can not reach anyone to address this. No amenities for the kitchen. No dish soap, towels, dish clothes. Housekeeping only cleaned one area. Did not make beds of clean bathroom. Basically only took the garbage out. At the front desk I was told that she would give me points on my IHG rewards for the inconvenience ... and she DID NOT. Not happy guest.
