Room is okay, spacious than expected, clean, and hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. However the restaurant staff not so attentive, we've waited some time to be seated while two staff just busy talking to each other, the staff who leads us didn't smile or say anything for the wait. But our server is sweet, food is just okay, overall too much savoury than flavor. I would say it's decent and convenient for hotel stayers but nothing special.

My husband and I visited for a short 4-day holiday. Cannot beat the location. The staff was super attentive. The attendant covering the valet service really went above and beyond. The dining room's Breakfast Américain was amazing. Will be staying again. Would definitely recommend.

Very happy with our stay at the Metcalfe. We were travelling as a group and had two rooms. Both were clean, well stocked with amenities and well maintained. We needed extra water and coffee and the front desk assisted us without issues. The thing that stuck out to me the most was when we checked out we left our bags with the hotel to walk around before our train. When we returned, one of the bags were not returned to us. When I called the hotel, assuming the bag was lost, they instead assured me they would send it promptly over to Montreal. Everything arrived later in the week, safe and sound. We were so impressed. I would stay at the Metcalfe again for the location, the rooms and the aesthetic- but also knowing that the staff go above and beyond just solidifies this decision. Thank you.

Great staff and service. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful and very clean. The desk area was great for work and the designer chair perfect. Loved the Le labo toiletries. Unfortunately I was very close to ongoing construction and the atrium, so my stay was quite noisy. The construction continued throughout the first night stay so I did not sleep more than a few hours, which was a shame. Other than that, I highly recommend staying here and also dining at the restaurant. The food was amazing!
