Wheelchair-friendly adapted holiday home in Ottenstein / Weserbergland

The Brouwerhaus with a floor space of 175 m2 on the ground floor has a garden with a south-facing terrace. The entire ground floor of the house is adapted for the disabled. The entrance is through the private driveway / shed.
Through the driveway and the gray doors you enter the portal, from there you enter through a 1 meter wide self-closing door in the spacious entrance. Then you come through a passage without door in the living area which is connected without barriers or doors with wide passages to a dining area, living room with wood stove, conservatory with sliding doors to the terrace / garden and the fully equipped kitchen. Through a door (88 cm wide) in the kitchen you enter the children's playroom with ball pit


There is a spacious bathroom with:
    2 shower places
    2 toilet bowls and a toilet seat, making 4 heights possible
    electric high / low sink with mirror
    fixed shower chair on the wall and a separate standing shower / pot chair
    shower stretcher / shower stretcher mobile and with hose
    2 connections / drainage pipe t. e.g. shower stretcher
    alarm cord around all walls.

There is one bedroom with an electric high / low bed and an electric high / low dressing table.
This bedroom is adjacent to a bathroom through a hall. The doors are directly opposite each other, making it easy to go from the bathroom to the bedroom with the shower steamer or hoist, for example.
There is one spacious children's bedroom with two single beds, if desired, several beds can be placed.
There are two bedrooms with a double bed.

We also have 2 extra high / low beds and 1 atlas zeeland bed (with high fences and starry sky).
All aids such as hoists, wheelchairs, walker, shower chair, toilet seat, shower stools, walking stools, bed box 140 x140, children's bed, high chair are available for free use.

In the living room you will find:

    NL television with DVD player
    radio
    wood stove (for those who can handle this)
    wireless internet (WiFi)

In the kitchen you will find:

    refrigerator
    combi microwave
    electric cooker with extractor hood
    coffee maker and Senseo
    kettle
    dishwasher
    close in boiler
    cutlery and eating utensils sufficiently available

Every room in the house has central heating.
Normal consumption of heating, electricity, and water are included in the rent.

Beds are made completely!

My daughter Chantal Brouwer brought us into the world of disabled children. In recent years we have noticed that there are few affordable holiday homes for people in a wheelchair.

With a lot of effort and super motivated, we have been working towards this holiday home for years.
