Best of American Samoa

Overall a great option for a trip to American Samoa. NPS is about 30-45 minutes drive away. You can rent a car directly from the hotel, which is a great option. Shuttle service complimentary to and from the airport. Well kept up and clean. Pool is great, but you may have to share with local children that can rent it out. Staff was helpful and nice. Complimentary breakfast is coffee, bread, and fruit, but there is an option to order if you need more and are willing to spend. Based on other people we talked to on the island, it is by far your best option to stay. Would recommend!

American Samoa is the ultimate South Pacific experience. I've been to Hawaii and Guam and AS is hands down the best Pacific destination I've ever been to. If you're into authentic culture and ecotourism this is the place to be. You don't have to be Samoan to fit in. As they told me at the Tradewinds Equator Bar. "We're all family!" The Tradewinds is the best hotel in American Samoa. You're going to love it there!

I have stayed at the Tradewinds six times since 2010 and it has always been a very comfortable environment. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly, and the food in the restaurant is created by professional chefs. Top notch. We watched the Superbowl in the bar which was really fun, and the special menu for the day great.
