The grounds needs attention, there is garbage all over the property, beer cans, and theres also a bag of garbage outside of a room and it is all out of the bag and the garbage is all over. I have a ESA and i clean up after him but it doeskt seel like anyone else cleans up after their dog, there is poop all over the property. The rooms are on desperate need of maintenance, some rooms have beek damaged but nothing is being done. There are occupants that are dealing drugs from their room and has alot of traffic throughout the night. There has been alot of cops roaling the parking lot, local police, sherriff and state police have been watching this place akd the occupants that are dealing drugs. This place has become less safe.

Due to some occupants that are here now, the place has become less safe, they have people in and out all night long, its believedthay they are dealing drugs from here, there is constantly popice here now. they make too luch loud noise in middle of night, doors slamming, screaming or yelling from in their room that is heard down the hall and in peoples rooms. They have garbage outback that has blown all over.

Overall, a good value for this location. Although there was no front desk, staff were responsive to messages sent electronically. Property is older and shows some wear & tear, but was adequately clean. Be advised, there is no daily maid service. I thought it was odd that in order to get clean towels, you were instructed to leave dirty towels *outside* the room. New towels were then left in the room by staff, but the dirty towels remained outside the door. Seems like this procedure might result in towel theft.

The view of the river was stunning and the bed was frankly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The room was very nice. This is a zero frills stay. You bring your garbage down to the trash, you buy your own garbage bags and extra toilet paper if you need it. Thankfully it's right next door to an Aldi's. Something to keep in mind: the outside door does not need a # at the end of the code to get in but the code to get into your room does end with a #. And when you get the room code correct it makes a buzz to tell you you were right. It's counter intuitive. Don't expect any extra beyond a comfortable place to stay and you'll be very happy here.

They have bed bugs and the staff are rude and they let clients there harass people and peep into their windows and knock on peoples doors etc.. they are the worst hotel they have no front desk they just have one of the owners that live in the building.. it is more like a apartment building that people don’t have respect for others..

Alot of the rooms are in desperate need of repair and are just continually getting worse with no maintenance being done to them, the grounds is not appealing to visitors, the bank down to river is overgrown, there is garbage strewn around the property because of some guests not respecting the property and other guests. There are sketchy people in and out of motels due to the traffic a couple roims bring that makes it feel nor as safe as it once was. This place is falling apart and not being maintained, and as someone who was born an raised here can tell you that the community sees it as a shame to see it in such shambles. Ive worked in the hospitality industry, including this place whek it was the Treadway, for 30 years, and this place really needs a full-time maintenance man on premises, and could use a housekeeper to assist the 2 staff members here so guests that have been staying here can get room cleaned every so often especially considering the cleaning fee that guests continously have to pay ehen they extend.
